No pics to post...yet.

I have enjoyed music quality from a record. It always felt warmer and closer to being there in studio with the band.

Albums encouraged a greater respect and desire for artistic display. Nowadays, everything is digital and the artwork is on such tiny 3 inch square booklets.

CDs are o.k., but they always sounded flat and 'tinny'. But, hey I guess this is the world we live in, right

SS-----generally, I think you are right, but I have plenty of LPs that were mastered lousy and sound much better on CD in a digital remaster. It really depends on the original engineering and mix. I think that LPS will ALWAYS potentially sound better----but they have to be done RIGHT!

I was around 5 years old, but on that day I actually bought two records from sears. The second was Pink Floyd the wall, some of the best album art ever.

I was wondering when the classic of all classics would be there. Rolling Stones's Sticky Fingers. It was had to find an album in the store that hadn't be ripped out to reveal Mick Jagger's undies. Loved it.

The lead singer and founder of the Cramps, Lux died a few days ago in a California hospital at age 63 from a heart condition.
