There is a guy who calls my hotel room and makes nasty comments. Not only does he call all the guest randomly, he call other hotels! This guy makes a life out of harassing people and who's going to prison?

Since I can't post a comment on the story itself until the site is fixed, I'll just mention it here. I just finally got around to reading ejls's Kate, and at the risk of sounding a little "me too," let me just say that it was a beautiful, wonderful romance. She's managed to pull off not just one but two very moving Christmas stories. This one has a bit of everything: adventure, suspense, and a touch of humor in places. ejls definitely deserves her place on the list of Recommended Authors.

Hey, Is it just me, or are there more stories showing up in the forum? Could be the effects of no comments on the other side. (What is the verb in that sentence? Hope it's not effect, because that's not a verb.)

I am sick of holding my stories back, but don't want to release them to the empty void of the story site. Unfortunately, my time here is limited. To what, I don't know. But, surely not very long.

Maybe, I post the story with a message pointing to a thread here for comments? Hum?

As Don says, reviews are more than welcome, from readers (who have made some excellent contributions to the thread) as well as writers (who seem to be fretting over the comments system still being down, hint hint!).

StoryGal96 - hits the spot of your heart's emotions, if you're into that kind of stuff. The stories just coincidentally happen to have descriptive sex scenes, but otherwise the plots are excellent.

It has been a great success. I was ready to give up on this site and writing until I found this thread. I actually didn't even know about the forum. For the most part, I'm sorry I waste time blurting out on the forum, but this thread has been a great service to me, and I'm sure many others.

I was going to respond on the story review thread, but didn't want to take away from its purpose. So, yes, I'd say a holiday break and probably a little intimidation about writing to A.P.'s high standard. I hope others will jump on and say what they will without feeling it has to be a professional review, as he/she does. I'm thrilled with any comments I can get.

By the way, two more chapters for you and I should be wrapping it up soon. So, if you are going to get back to it, please make your comments before my departure. I appreciate your dedication to us writers. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't bother. I'm not self motivated, it's for the readers.

She is amazing, isn't she? I love the language (in my much, much earlier years, I loved lots of languages) and A.P. has the true gift. Please, please, please, make him feel welcome here. Not everyone will get a 10:10 from the guy - not by a long shot - but it behooves the authors here to bear in mind that new blood ultimately benefits all.

But M'lady, I reckon you ruffled my feathers when you steered your bulldog reviewer friend towards the stories written by ejls! I have read his glowing reviews of her NORA and Kate stories on your other site. While I agree with every complimentary word his reviews say, I have a major concern.

Which is; after reading ejls first, how in this world can any other writer here measure up? JJ will think he has stumbled upon a site filled with literary geniuses! Which he has not. Wait until he gets around to us plodding peons of prose who lack the imaginative skills of a master storyteller like ejls. Why, you yourself have commented that I am no literary giant (although you tempered your remarks by saying you liked my stories because they make you all 'squishy inside').

I suppose time will tell about future reviews from JJ. You say he is 'tough, but fair', yet these can be intimidating words.

I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. There are few authors here who have the same literary skills as ejls, but your stories are entertaining in their own way. They have a more innocent and playful tone, which fits the "young love" theme that seems to be prevalent in your stories, and at the same time they're smokin' hot. No need to be jealous of ejls; you have your own style and it works really well. And whatever faults you may see in your writing, imaginative skill is not one of them.

Perhaps on a site like this, "squishy inside" is the best compliment anyone can possibly receive.

I personally like cheating themes. "riding with my mum" is a nice story.
"paying the rent" is a nice story and "driving lessons" are a few of the stories that I really enjoyed.

Would love to see writers venturing into more sources like father doing their sons' wives.

The mother and son and father and daughter theme is getting a little bit boring for me. Please write some stories about fathers doing their daughter in law. There is also alot of stories about mother in law doing their daughter's husband but can't really find any with the other way.

My latest and last thread, might bote of things to come. My average comment count is 33.7. So far on my request for folks to come over here and make a comment, only seven comments. I'm thinking with the changes coming, forced login for comments is going to lower the amount of feed back by a bunch.
I know there are other factors involved with having to come to the forum and find my thread, but still. Most of the comments I get are READER comments. I think people are shy.
Tell E to write me and tell me how the new system works out.

I'll miss all my fans. Okay, the few people who like my story. They have been very kind to me. Who knows, maybe I can get everything worked out quickly and come back soon. If so, I'm going to regret zipping this tale of neighbors up so abruptly.

In case anyone missed out on the inside joke, 'Fruit of the Loops' was a typo (I guess) from one of BiStanders earlier stories.
