Turns out Texas men are pussy's, steers and queers right!

According to the Statesmen, 37-year-old Brandon Vezmar wants a $17.31 settlement, which was the price of the ticket to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

"It was kind of a first date from hell," he said, after they met online.

The woman, 35, who didn't want to be named, insisted she didn't know about the claim and that it was "crazy".

Brandon claims that after around 15 minutes she started texting on her phone, which was one of his "biggest pet peeves".



The date happened on 6 May at the Barton Creek Square theatre in Austin, Texas
In the court papers filed in the small claims court in Travis County, he apparently claims she did it "at least 10-20 times in 15 minutes".

After asking her to do it outside, she apparently left the cinema and didn't come back.

However, the woman insists she only did it two or three times, and that she was messaging a friend who was having a fight with her boyfriend.

Now the film's director James Gunn has weighed in.

In response the woman said she planned to take legal action against Brandon Vezmar for getting in touch with her little sister to get the money.

"I'm not a bad woman," she said. "I just went out on a date."

 

I read about this in the NYP I had to laugh my ass off. He needs to get over himself, apparently he was that bad for a first day she already gave up on him. What a loser.

 

I agree. I saw this on the news this morning. Who goes to the movies on a first date anyway.

 

Well, and lets also keep in mind he took her to see Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2.

I heard or just read on the internet that she may have been texting her friend about a breakup or something and it turned into a "my date is a crazy person" text session ...

The woman was probably texting someone to come pick her up so she could get away from that creep....

His first problem was going to the wrong theater to see the movie!! He should've waited to go to the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Austin. They do not allow any talking or texting during the movie or you are asked to leave...no ifs, ands or buts...out you go without a refund!! I loved that place!! I don't blame him for being pissed because talking or texting is rude and irritating!!

I would love to go see that movie on a first date or any other # date! The first one was great!

My pet peeve is not being shown someone's undivided attention. If her friend's crisis was so demanding, she should've stepped out of the theater or waited until the movie was over to deal with probably a very common occurrence with her friend and boyfriend. No Milk Duds or popcorn for her!!!!

My pet peeve as well and if I give someone my attention I expect the same in return. This dummies made her life hell now though and she will think harder the next time around. I wouldn't want to be that guy that gets to date her next lol.

I don't really care if people text in the movie as long as their phone is on silent, however some people are rude about it.

At least the guy didn't pay for the movie AND a dinner only to get blue balls afterward.
