    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    As the reporting is disclosing, LTG Flynn and J. Kushner, Trump's son-in-law met with Russian Ambassador Kislyak, and Kushner proposed a back channel be set up through the Russian Embassy to communicate with the Kremlin. Plus, a meet was desired to take place at a third country, which turned out to be the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean with Prince of Blackwater fame being the Trump agent at the meet there with the Russians.

    What strikes me is that LTG Flynn would have the expertise on the location logistics more than Kushner, the relative novice with the cache of gravitas as the extension of Trump's will. Also, Prince would have been known to Flynn (even if Prince's sister, the future Sec. of Education, Betsy DeVoss was not yet tapped for her cabinet candidacy) by his security contracts with the military.

    Did Flynn use Kushner as the front and pitch man for the idea, for his own cache with Trump and to offset Stave Gannon's cache? Was getting Prince to be at the Seychelles part of a deal to get DeVoss her Education post(if she was not yet tapped for that post)?

    Flynn had the idea and plans. Kushner was the foolish tool of leverage for both getting Trump's 'OK' and credibility with the Russians?

      Like six degrees of Kevin Bacon, but possible. Wouldn't surprise me, only politics can be so complicated and murky. Never transparent.

      Though I still wonder why people think there shouldn't be diplomacy between Russia and America. We court Kings from the land of the oil and sand for the privilege of producing dissidents to turn terrorists hell bent on spreading their extremist wrath. No reason not to consider another approach.

      The politics being what they are, there's money in conflict and abstract threats. Thus the turf privileges of the security state, along with the protocols of their conventions, which Flynn-Kushner broached

    The Soviet Union is no longer in existence. The Cold War is over. Russia is not our enemy no more than France is our enemy. It is foolish to try and convince American citizens Russia is our number one enemy. Our number one enemy is the same as Russia's number one enemy, ISIS. We allied with Russia in WWII to defeat the German's. The prudent thing to do is work with all nations to defeat ISIS terrorism.

    ISIS is the acute issue while Russia is a routine pain in the ass. (See my comment above)

      An acute pain must be dealt with at that given moment, a chronic pain like Russia could improve by a change on our part. We do have choices, I'm just concerned that we've never considered other options when choosing who and how we deal with them.

    Russia is not a problem and has not been for a long time.
    We do have a political party here in the U.S. that is using Russia a pawn in another game.
    Russia, just like most other countries knew which person would be the best president.
    One could not be trusted and the other was a business man who would make the best deal.
    Both countries could prosper with a person who would make an honest deal and not stab you in the back.
    This Russia thing will continue until someone is caught leaking information or a news media is caught making up their own stories.

    The West helped to rape the Russian economy after Gorbachev. Putin with the obliged help his oligarchists is seeking to reclaim what Yeltsin gave away in corrupt deals, and that DOES upend the board set by the West in the 90's
