  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...ichael-fallon-defence-secretary-a7734966.html

"Defence Secretary Michael Fallon has refused to deny that Britain’s nuclear submarines use the outdated Windows XP program amid the ongoing WannaCry ransomware attack.

Instead he simply insisted the subs were “safe”, adding that they operated “in isolation” when out on patrol, which possibly suggests the vessels at sea were unaffected only because they were not connected to the internet.

The malware has prevented computers from being used all over the world in companies and government departments, with the NHS particularly badly hit. At one point nearly a fifth of NHS trusts were affected by the virus.

Windows XP is now largely unsupported by Microsoft, although the firm issued a special patch to prevent WannaCry from infecting computers still using it because of the extent of the attack.

The hackers used a technique described in leaked files from the US National Security Agency to spread the ransomware by exploiting weaknesses in Windows XP.

Mr Fallon was asked on the BBC’s The Andrew Marr Show if it was true that the UK’s nuclear submarines still used the operating system.

“We never comment on the defence systems, obviously for reasons of security, that our submarines use,” he replied.

“But our Vanguard submarines, I can absolutely assure you, are safe and operate in isolation when they are out on patrol.

“I have complete confidence in our nuclear deterrent. I can assure you the nuclear deterrent is fully protected.”

Western countries not prepared for nuclear war, expert warns

Mr Marr also suggested the Government had failed to ensure the NHS was properly protected by cyber attacks.

Mr Fallon replied: “In our security review just over a year and a few months ago, we identified cyber threats as one of the three principal threats and we set aside £1.9bn to protect use against cyber [attacks].

“A large chunk of that went to the NHS. We spend around £50m on the NHS cyber systems to improve their security.”

The WannaCry attacks have faltered as Microsoft issued software patches to defend against it but people still need to update their computers.

And experts have warned the code could be rewritten to circumvent the new security measures."

Instead he simply insisted the subs were “safe”, adding that they operated “in isolation” when out on patrol, which possibly suggests the vessels at sea were unaffected only because they were not connected to the internet.

Thank fuck Britain's subs are laid up and no cunt can just look at the Drumpf's latest tweet. No wonder the UK gets its Trident missiles so fucking cheap.

    LOL

Lots of our stuff runs on XP, too.

    So what?

There are still millions of ATM's running on it in this country, which is okay, because they're not on the Internet; they're on hard lines.

As for US military hardware, most of it is not on the Internet at all-- or at worst, it is running on networks using proprietary variants of TCP-IP that would be unrecognizable to Internet routers. Therefore the controllers are isolated.

(You can't hack a nuke. Can't be done.)

XP is the most stable operating system Microsoft ever built, and it is rock solid, as long as it is not on the Internet.

Most ATM's and other things we use daily are run by XP. Although it may no longer be supported, it is still effective and more secure than some newer operating systems.

The latest ransomware virus was stopped by a couple geeks, one in the UK and one in the US heartland when they stumbled onto a "kill switch" in the code.

The hackers (Russians no doubt) actually used a program originally written by the American government to launch the virus that has done some serious damage in parts of Asia and Europe mostly. They have pledged to relaunch 2.0 without a kill switch and just wanted to get people's attention with 1.0

A while back I got one of those things that came on my computer that said I had to pay them a certain amount or they were going to lock up my computer.
Even gave instructions on how to send the money.
I called a friend who was more computer savy than I was. He said turn off the computer and you will probably get rid of it. If not you can buy a new computer cheaper than you can pay the ransom on yours.

That's funny. I got something like that on my phone when looking at porn at youporn. I turned off the phone and restarted it and it was gone. I never went back to youporn.

I don't know where mine came from. I did click on one of those computer update programs that pop up every once in a while. It gave me a virus.
I did have to replace my computer. It was my fault for clicking on something I didn't really look at first.

    LOL

I almost posted this, but I do not know it for a fact. I would have guessed Sun UNIX, but I am not at all surprised that DOS is running missile guidance systems. I have seen DOS on USAF cargo planes and tankers, not too long ago. I bet DOS is still all over the place.

Most were installed in the early 1980s and the launch systems have not been updated. But here in America we don't connect our missile computers to the internet.

Shooter heard it was a Republican plot to overthrow all of the governments in Europe who have socialized medicine. Kind of a Trump fit of rage thing.

And get this; unidentified sources in the FBI confirmed that Trump himself ordered it because Ivanka told him to. Apparently, she thinks it will help with sales of her ............. something.

When that happens, do not click on the message, or respond to it at all. Turn your computer off. Turn your modem off. Wait for awhile, at least five minutes. Then turn your computer and modem back on and run a scan on it.

Another scam is that you may get a message, or even a telephone call that tells you that unusual signals have come from your computer, indicating that it has a dangerous virus. Do not respond to this.

Wait. you mean that guy who called Shooter from Pakistan who works for "Microsoft Technical Support" isn't legitimate? That I shouldn't have given him control over my computer so he could fix it?
That it might explain why my computer is stomping around my basement now demanding money and threatening to eat my dog if I don't send money?
