I had to look it up the only Tai-Pan I knew of was the James Clavell novel about the founding of Hong Kong. Which is still one of my favorite books, its a shame that the two terms aren't from the same root.

not that I've narrowed it down to 3 choices yet. One is set the other 4 are battling for the other 2 slots. well One is set one is all but set and the other three are fighting for the other space. But I need the pressure to choose. Crap the more I think about it though I may only do those 2 and leave the others as honorable mentions... or just flip a coin or roll a die.

All I know is I can't take the suspense much longer PLEASE. :excited:

not a nice critter but extremely capable for taking out rock spiders such as are haunting the site.

Although, referencing rock spiders (urban dictionary link) brought up the fact that the natural predator for the critter (link for huntsman spider) is actually the scorpion.

Darthel - very effective indeed.

Back in the 70s we had a rapist of teenage girls on the loose in AZ, and it terrified them until old-man Tyson wound up on the indian reservation and got caught after doing harm to a lady there.

Two weeks later the authorities were notified to where...what was left of him could be found...staked out to an ant-hill.

Needless to say, no one really mourned his passing.

So, is anybody else here reduced to pulling straws, reading tarrot cards, flipping a coin, doing firegazing, buying a crystal ball, looking at the stars, visiting a fortune teller, calling that psychic hotline lady, reading their tea-leaves, interpreting their dreams or doing something with chicken entrails and black candles to decide who to vote for?

No? Ok, so it's just me, then.

It didn't work, by the way. I'm still stuck between two possibles.

I knew I should have added some brooms and herbs to the chicken and candles ritual.

 

I'm just hoping we might get more than 3 votes to cast, but waiting to see. Anyway when we know I'm going to look through them all again; I quite often find I read something in a different mood and see it differently.

 

I'm waiting for the voting to commence here, as I imagine most of us have. I am hoping its three votes or more as this CAW has many true gems to choose from that are incredible.

 

I don't know if I would like it to be more than three. Its like trying to spread the same amount of marmite over too many slices of bread. Besides, the agonizing is fun

 

I had a delightful idea on dealing with child pervs....(Prepare yourselves guys...)

A piece of copper wire tied loosely round his genitals....pulled tight with a grunt and a shreak! Then excess meat tossed to the Dog. Problem solved. No more perve...as he would wonder what would be his next punishment.

(Now on with the voting...heheheh)

That was dreamed up after a particularly nasty News story. Huggles.

 

LadyRed why not just toss the perv to the dogs in the first place? Save on feeding them and on patching up the gelded perv.
