The name of the song is "When this cruel war is over." or "Weeping, Sad and Lonely." it was a poem written during the civil war, but I could not tell you the original writer without googling it.

Yay- I made it in time to vote!

With previous CAWs, I would always begin the process of voting by eliminating those stories that didn't, to my thinking, deserve a vote because the writing quality was poor or because the story/plot was hard to follow or didn't "flow" well enough to keep my interest.

With this CAW, no such story exists. I like some stories better than others simply because of personal preference, but there is no story that was poorly written or uninteresting. Kudos to all of the talented writers for that!

There may be only one winner, but there is definitely no loser in this CAW challenge!

Not worth it to stay up all night for it -

 

I typed in the last mark on my computer at 6:50 this morning. Then I took a shower, got ready, and left for work. I'm very high on caffiene right now.

If the announcement is today (which I doubt) I may sleep right through it and only find out when I wake up.

Now, where can I get some of that delicious looking coffee?

 

If you cannot find coffee then just chase a javalina around; no joke, we do that when one shows up on the apartment grounds.

Since CAW SOP and I are in the same time zone, I bet we're going to have to wait at least three more hours for the announcement.

What I'm afraid of is that the "Big Reveal" won't answer all our questions. CAW SOPs can be devious creatures, as we've seen in the past.

 

I see that collared peccaries have reached AZ - is it legal to kill them when they are on the premises? I can easily see that being a secondary food source and since they are omnivorous and eat small animals (read small dogs and cats and toddlers) I would think that there would be a hunting license that could be obtained for property protection.

Imagine how you'll feel seven hours from now if we still haven't heard. That's how I'm feeling.

If the Big Reveal doesn't answer our questions, I might just start chewing on my own elbows with frustration.

 

Apparently our little petulant pixy needs to be distracted.

Imagine somebody else nibbling on those delectable elbows.

Now imagine those nibbles traveling up your arms to those wondrous mamms.

Twirling around the tips, traveling between the globes, dipping into the center of your belly before coming back up to tease the mounds one more time.

Oh, wait. Where are the hands. Is that one on a wondrous globe below your waist? But there is one still missing; or did it just land above your knee?

Now imagine the nibbling going lower to join those hands.

I think I have you thinking of something different now. Yes?
