Happy Valentine’s Day, readers! Now it’s time to show some love.

You’ve had two weeks to read these fifteen stories. If you haven’t already, you should now decide on your favorites. You’ll vote for TWO entries – your first and second choices. Vote via Private Conversation to the CAW SOP account and copy in wantsomefun, please, to make it easier for me. Votes will be accepted from now through 11:59 pm US Eastern Standard Time on Saturday, February 20, 2016. Remember, everything is to be anonymous. I’ll identify the writers when I post the results of the voting.

Fifteen stories were presented for our amusement and amazement. While every one was a winner in its own right, it’s time for you to choose. The story with the most first place votes wins. The entry with the most second place votes is our runner-up. I’m well aware a story could get twenty second place votes but not win the writer the honor/burden of being the next host. We’re looking for two scores here – the story that was top in more voter’s minds than any other, and the one that wound up second on the most readers’ lists. PLEASE PLACE BOTH A FIRST AND SECOND PLACE VOTE.

It will be interesting to see how this turns out.

Done. I like voting, because it's then that I mostly realize what story left its mark the most, and why. The #2nd vote went for a story I didn't really expect to give it to...

Would it be fine to make guesses as to who is the author of certain stories?

 

So far, five members have sent their choices. Three stories have first place votes, and there's a five-way tie for second.

 

I have to narrow done my 5 favorite's to 2? Ugh! I know who said they entered, but am not as familiar with some styles, as with others. I think I recognize a possible three entries. I'll have to wait and see if I'm right.

Opening Night - I know of two persons who write this way, the first being Sweetcreekcowgirl, who doesn't seem to be present 'round lately, and the second is LittleMissK, who I'm pretty sure wrote this story.

The reasons as to why I think so: The main characters absolutely smell of LittleMissK (If that comes out in a way that isn't creepy, yay!). They're nice, sweet, and so is the story - which thus reminds me of one of her previous CAW entries. The main male character is not much different than any other male characters, yet there's something that sets him apart, personality-wise I suppose (and in a good way). It's what made me realize that a female author wrote this story, from the start. It'll be fun if it turns out I'm completely off on this... and mildly embarrassing

You Can Never Go Home - Hush. There was something she mentioned about paragraph structure, which makes me think it's her who wrote this. That'll have to be it, since my second argument got screwed.

Report: PW-3 - Hypocrites. This is mostly a wild guess, but eh. Either that, or The Sexual Hunger Games. There was another person who I thought could have written it, but I'm not even sure if they're around XNXX anymore, so I'll leave it at that.

Dante’s Inferno - Let's say ahorsewithnoname. It was described quite well, and it reminds me of something he might write.

Christmas Gift - pars001, if he's participating. Mostly 'cause it wouldn't be the first time he took upon writing a difficult story (at least in my pov), yet did a surprisingly decent job at it. I wouldn't have even considered writing such a story.

There Can Only Be One - Let's say Norton X. I liked the descriptions, the way it was written, and despite the story that was based on, it was interesting to read. Plus, it reminds me of the way he wrote another story in one of the previous CAWs.

I'm not really sure who wrote other stuff, so that'll be for me.

 

I have a few guesses. I'm keeping them to myself for the moment. I could see Little Miss K writing opening night, but I wasn't thinking it was her. I have no other idea who wrote it though.

I already mentioned I think Half Breed and PW-3 are the same author, but I'm quiet on who.

 

Actually, a number of recent former entrants have been strangely quiet. Brootforce, Wee Hector, Jayney, ejls, Sybil62, BlackRonin,... Did they not participate? Or are they just being coy?

 

I'm going to disagree with your guess that MissK wrote Opening Night. I say that because I don't believe she would use herself as inspiration for one of the characters. In my opinion, and because he's written sweet stories before, my guess is that it's @UncleB71 .

 

All the hassle of running an anonymous CAW is justified by the guessing game.

Just sayin'.

 

@DarkThunder .....Perhaps WSF pulled my entry because he didn't want me to be embarrassed. Then again maybe he pulled it in that he didn't want to embarrass all of you. On the other hand, perhaps he left them in considering that when submitted there were so few entries. Most of all however, perhaps you are right, though possibly wrong.

One story left....and I'm still trying to narrow down my top two...

Off to work, I'll decide on who wrote what while I'm not busy

 

What a nice Valantines day present from you all. Really enjoyed reading all of them as well as reading all the comments that people posted. As to geussing whom wrote what, while I believe that it is possible to identify some of the writers by their style and characters, I think others are recognisable by the choice of stories they choose to tell, then there are the ones you can pick out by the way the story is told. But which ever one of you I want to guess at the only thing I do know for a fact is that you are getting better and better at entertaining me, absolutely outstanding all of you that entered!

I was thinking about this voting system. It would be possible for one story to be both first and second.

If there's one story for which half the voters vote first, and half the voters vote second, then it'd be first and second. (Assuming that the remaining first and second votes were distributed among more than one story.)
