    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

    The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    The Reading Phase is coming to a close, and now we're at the point of moving into the Voting Phase. You still have some time to read if you haven't already, or drop a comment or two in place.

    Here's how voting will work:

    Send a PM to CAW SOP. You may vote only once, like so:

    1st:
    2nd:
    3rd:

    Honorable Mention:

    Please pick three stories, one for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. You may not choose one story for more than one slot.

    For Honorable Mention, you may list as many or as few stories as you wish. You do not need to list any. It's there to give a vote of praise to stories that you liked, but didn't make your Top 3.

    1st place votes will receive 6 points.
    2nd place votes will receive 4 points.
    3rd place votes will receive 2 points.
    Honorable Mention votes will receive 1 point.

    NOTE: Votes for Honorable Mention will not count toward 1st-3rd places.

    Voting will end Tuesday morning, June 21st, at 6:00am Eastern Daylight Time. Shortly thereafter the tally will be completed and the CAW winner announced!

    CAW SOP will send out a note to each author letting them know how many points they received. CAW SOP will not reveal who voted for which story.

    I like this 'Honourable Mentions' idea, often there are several stories which, as a voter, one would like to compliment but one has to narrow it down to three (or sometimes fewer). It probably won't make a huge difference to the overall result, but it might well make the difference between stories with similar numbers of votes.

    A good idea, perhaps one that could be adopted by future CAW hosts.

    I managed to hone my short-list down to three, but I was glad I could award consolation points to several other tales, although really all of them deserved a mention as once again all the entries were interesting, I enjoyed reading each and every one of them - thank you authors for your work.

    I (Horse) have to say that one of the interesting aspects of running a CAW (and there aren't all that many, trust me...I'd rather be on the writing side of these!) is looking at the comments that people make on their own stories. :) Since I know who wrote what, it's fun to watch for comments from the original author.

    For what it's worth, we've had 5 people vote, and you have approximately 48 hours to finish your reading and voting.

    I have a problem already with this damn voting thing.

    So far I've read eight entries thoroughly enough to know I'll be using the Honorable Mention choice often. My problem is how to narrow down the group I've read so far to simply three real favorites and then how to rank them first to third.

    Aarrgghh!

    I need a break before reading the other three stories and THEN having to make decisions.
