Very sad news .
We men should be so lucky to make 90...
RIP Chuck Berry.
I miss Carson too. He interviewed Berry and ended up cancelling the other guests that night.
All wonderful Singers. Born in the good USA .
So long, Chuck
His estimated net worth was $19 million.

I have heard mention of records but I do not recall having any however I remember our 8 tracks. Some of you will also. Some of you might wonder what the heck an 8 track was...
I still have a collection of old 45's and vinyl albums, as well as music on cd's and a terabytes drive I am moving everything to. I hated 8-tracks. Cassettes were okay but I tended to play them so much they wore out.
Chuck Berry was also on the tonight show once where he played Johnny B Good in its original form which was stripped down and stark compared to the modern versions. And when he finished the audience just sat there in stunned near silence.
Then when he sat down with Johnny he actually asked Chuck how much that song and rock and roll had evolved. And Chuck said; "In case you didn't notice I just played the original version and they hated it."
Apologies , I was at the bottom of page one and missed this thread . Rest in peace Mr Berry .
