  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

Okay, I have a semi-serious literary question. I'm constantly at war with myself about the verb "to cum", and the noun "cum". When I first started writing this stuff, I used those words, because it seemed like it was the norm. But then it started to feel affected and stilted, so with this latest bunch of stories, I changed everything to "come" and "coming". It just seems more....I don't know, professional?

Occasionally, I even see the past tense rendered as "I cummed", "you cummed", "she done cummed".

    I don't know about you, but I came, I saw, I conquered.

So, do you folks have any clear preference on this vital subject?

Yeah, if you are speaking about the action, 'cum' is the right word to use. Some people may get confused if you use 'come'.

You can also use 'cum' in a pun (if it works right).

I prefer come for the verb. "I came so hard I sprained my scapula". Cum, to me is a noun, "He shot cum all over my Louie Vitan I-Pod". I would never used cummed just like I would never say comed, "I never did cummed cuz I'm iliterate".

Of course I am the guy who cannot understand how 'disrespect' has now managed to occupy every available part of speach.

Only 'fuck' should be aloud to do that.

"You FUCK (n), I'm going to fucking (adv) fuck (v) your fucking (adj) brains out for coming all this cum all over my Louis Vitan I-Pod and making me sprain my scapula.

Thank you, thank you, I'm here all week.

I prefer come, coming, came. Cum makes it sound unintelegent to me. Cum sounds like something scribbled on a bathroom wall.

I use cum as a noun ('Dribbling cum fell from her pussy') and come as a present tense verb ('I am comimg all over her tits') and came as a past tense verb ('I came all over her tits'). What about future tense? Well if you wanted to put that in its come ('I will come all over her tits')

The word cum/cumming, obviously, stems from the word come. It originated on the internet funnily enough with people having cybersex so its basically a form of text speak. At least I think it is I may be entirely wrong. I don't know what was used instead of cum (n) before text speak arrived.

    Enough with the English/History lesson

Having just searched my story (its WIP, so not posted anywhere yet) to see what I used... it turns out, I haven't used either at all.

There are lots of alternatives that sound more professional. For example:

She came hard => She had a big orgasm
He came on her breasts => He ejaculated on her breasts
Cum dripped from her pussy => Semen dripped from her pussy.

I guess its personal preference, and depends on the tone of the story though.

I try to vary the words I use, but no, it doesn't read like something medical. I was just saying that "cum" isn't the only word to use. Even if I did use it, I would (at least try) to avoid using it exclusively.

    Another example then:

He came on her breasts => He ejaculated on her breasts => He squirted hot juices onto her breasts.

While thats true to a certain extent, thats not the only audience I'm writing for. Someone who is reading it as, to put it simply, an alternative to picture-porn probably wont notice conciously, but then, if I wrote the other way the people who were looking to read it as a story would notice.

Still, its up to you, write your stories the way you like them, and I'll write mine the way I like them, and the way the feedback I've had so far says these people like them. I know its a limited audience, but I dont want to upload something unfinished.

I agree that it's important to vary the vocabulary, and I don't do enough of that, because some words sound sexier to me than others. I use the words "penis" and "vagina" precisely because I get tired of overworking "cock" and "pussy". Similary:

come, semen, sperm, ejaculate, juice, jizz, sauce, etc.

shoot, spurt, erupt, burst, pulse, pump, flourish, leap, explode, etc.

I know people are just reading and stroking, but I want to appeal to their intellect a little bit while they're getting off. It's better that way.

Xyber, I have to say TO ME it is important. Writing stories is a craft. I try to practice the craft as professionaly as I can, and I expect the same of others. Simplistic, under written stories are boring and repetitive and do nothing for me. A really good story is one that you can not only jack off to while you read it, but can continue to fantasize about long afterwards.

Exactly. You can tell in the first couple of lines if the story is well written. If not, I usually quit reading it.

well put, but some stories just come off as childish if certain words are over used. I personally have no preference, because I know what the author is talking about if you read the content/image trying to be made.

Very interesting distinction, AB. As it turns out, what prompted the original question was my browsing some erotica down at Barnes & Noble one day. Most "main stream" erotica seems to use "come", while the raunchier porn always uses "cum". So I guess you're onto something.

I think a variety of terms to express the concepts is needed to avoid constant repetition which just comes across as lack of imagination. I pride myself on having an extensive vocabulary and like to use it - okay that may be a little conceited of me, waggling my intellect instead of my penis :D

In my mind writing a story - ANY story, is a work of poetry of sorts. Using the right word at the right time IS important, and if you are trying to turn someone on it is EVEN more important!

    "She pulled her knickers down"
    "She removed her lingerie"

    Which sounds more erotic?

As for cum and come, I personally don't tend to use either - I really prefer the words orgasm or climax. If I do use these words, I believe I used come as a verb and cum as a noun.
