To finish the story about the alleged curse......when they took the time to survey the various other professions that ahve a higher than normal death suicide rate they found that the Porn industry is about the same as Hollywoods. Far and away the Rock and roll life is suicide king. Anyway, the porn ind. hired a P.I to try and find Bambi to put to rest the speculation of her death. He said that she was living a very private abd happy life somewhere in the mid west. He didn't say if he actually met her or met her family but jis sdvise was "Leave her alone.she isn't interested in rehashing the past"...........Herwe than is the surprise for the ages; What movie would you say has grossed the most $$ in the history of the movie industry? Gone with the wind? Maybe Star wars? Debbie Does dallas is reported to have grossed over the years well over $I billion in sales......and growing!

 

You have to admire her, in a way. She had her fling in the porn business, became famous as the star in a cult classic, and managed to get away quick, hopefully unscathed, and live a semi-normal life. I wonder if people recognize her on the street....

 

........well thats a good question. Here is what most people familiar with the story think what happened. She came from a very tight knit family of farmers in the s.Dakota area (Deadwood maybe)? when she got out here in the mid 70's she was broke and perfect for the sharks from Pornland..she actually made 4 films so it wasn't a one time ooopss and than back home. Sher knew what she was doing. She was probably getting into drugs big time(cocaine had just arrived) and her folks heard rumors about her lifestyle. Came here found her and took her home where she spent a long time in therapy and settled in anither town far away from the curious who might know.like you I hope she is happy and not to hard on hard on herself
