By a scientific definition, I would say that I am likely "addicted". I spend time related to porn that I probably should be doing other things. I can't say that it's hurt my life or my family, but not all addictions do, or at least not to a noticeable extent. I want to logon and check content and messages here daily, but there are times when I can go days or weeks without even thinking about it. I'm sure I'm addicted, but not quite as severely as people consider drug addictions, or the like. I don't think I've ever stolen anything "to get my fix" (other than stealing my brother's magazines back when I first started).

The first step in overcoming an addiction is admitting to yourself that you have a problem. And you took that first step, and that's the hardest. Noticing what you're doing is nothing but noticing you have a problem is the tough thing. And you should be proud of yourself for noticing it, and doing something about it. But with any addiction it's something you'll be fighting with the rest of your Life. Every where you look, they'll be something that will bring back memories and remind you of the feelings that overwhelmed you. It will be a very difficult struggle not to be overwhelmed with thoughts and memories of the hundreds, maybe thousands of people around the world that got off watching you jerk and suck a beautiful, thick, hard cock off on cam. I'd trade it for the real thing in a heartbeat and I know this sounds like buying Playboy for the articles but I joined here to type and read.

 

Porn brought a lot of fun in my life that I otherwise would have missed - including inspiration for the threesomes my wife and I did. If I would suddenly be deprived of any watching of porn, it would make me pretty unhappy. But it doesn't rule my life. If that is an addiction I'm a happy addick.

I think addiction is possible, since well enjoy the endorphin rush of being sexually excited, and naturally the orgasm that follows! But, honestly, it's may just be a habit, a very consuming habit. To me, if it were an addiction, if we went without, then there would be some sort of withdrawal symptom. I'm thinking of withdrawal symptoms from a substance here. But yes, I've certainly spent a lot of time, and not a lot of time with porn.
