  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

is this where old thinskin is from?

    ===============================
    MONDAY, MARCH 13, 2017ADAR 15, 57771:23 AM IST

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands – Police moved in early Sunday using water cannons and horses to break up protests in Rotterdam which erupted after Dutch authorities barred Turkish ministers from visiting.

After several hours of a calm, but tense demonstration by more than 1,000 people outside the Turkish consulate, AFP correspondents saw police, some carrying out mounted charges on horseback, begin to forcefully disperse the protesters.

The port city’s mayor Ahmed Aboutaleb told reporters police had moved in to try to break up “a few groups,” but that the situation in the city center was stabilizing as police “try to get everyone to return home.”

But after initially dispersing, the crowd began to gather in smaller groups again, with the police once again moving in, an AFP correspondent said.

The move came as the city’s authorities expelled Turkey’s Family Minister Fatma Betul Sayan Kaya and escorted her back to the German border.

She had crossed over several hours earlier aiming to attend a rally in support of the Turkish government’s planned April referendum, despite angry Dutch pleas to Ankara to keep its ministers away.

Earlier, Dutch authorities had also refused Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu permission to land in the city for a rally to gather support for a referendum on boosting the powers of Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Amsterdam has the weed in coffee shops.

It's like other places there are many who welcome them and many who don't, with what is going on it is to be expected and more of it to come. Most of you here seem to think in black and white. I fear there will be soon be conflict here in my country because people are so divided.

When my folks went to Holland to visit relatives, they were taken to a restaurant owned by Turks. The Turks didn't want to wait on my folks because they were American and made some very nasty comments about them in Turkish. Well, our relatives understood what was said and responded back to let them know...I can't remember if they were finally waited on or they all walked out.

Americans just can't seem to understand how disregarded they are in the world. Every time I have traveled I always run into Americans using the Canadian flag on themselves to get treated better.

That's cool. It is a whole different life there then here. I enjoy watching when I see southern places in movies and such because it is so different. Well not Florida, I have no desire to go there.

I can't just like this post, I love baklava. The Greek Festival down in Houston had it, but it was a little dry.
Antoine's Deli had the best baklava ever. I'm drooling like Pavlov's dogs...

There is a disturbing trend in Europe which includes that it is suddenly frowned upon by some for a nation to assert it's right to sovereignty and run it's country as they see fit . With the influx of immigrants all over Europe , they are attempting to dictate how a country should carry itself and this is the result . Occurrences like this one will soon become the norm there if they don't get their shit together .

    1. anon_de_plume
The problem with "sovereignty" is that it leads to patriotism. While pride is good, nationalism isn't.

I don't have a problem with people wanting to preserve their nation and not make it look like something else to please a bunch of new comers.
If you don't like the way my country runs, then you should of never came.

Good on the Dutch I say.

Why should they stand round cheering on while Turkish immigrants try to transport their shambolic form of society to the place they've chosen to run away from it to.

Why didn't they stay home and enjoy it , or change things there.

Let's face it , if some protester only got his arse chewed up by a police dog ,
    he'd be lucky ,
and wouldn't even make the back page of an obscure give away.

Are you fucking kidding me? Do you really understand what is going on and the history cause if you did you wouldn't say such ignorant things.

So are you suggesting they should be able to change the Netherlands to suit their ideals ?

Or are you referring to the history of the middle east , Turkey , and the Ottoman empire ?
or further back to Anatolian and Byzantine times perhaps.
      Roman , Persian Greekobactrian

      I know a little , but not enough , I'm sure.

    What a fucking laugh.

Turkeys PM upset because his politicians have not been allowed to
    upset a foreign nation's election campaign ,
because he wants Turks who've run out on their country , to vote to support him getting more powers.

    News flash.
    They left turkey ,
to go and live in a better country.

There is no god given right for your politicians to conduct Turkish domestic political rallies , gatherings , speeches or meetings , in other sovereign countries.

Throwing a temper tantrum hissyfit , insulting your allies is not a clever move.

    Stupid man
He needs Europe , their help and their backing , much more than they need anything from him.
Of course he could just become a Putin Puppet ,
and give up on the EU ,
then the thug wouldn't need Syria with Assad :)

(then they could just sail across the black sea and drive direct to the Mediterranean , and steam straight through the Bosporus)

Everybody appears to be missing the truth when it comes to refugees. I don't usually speak this crude on a forum, well sometimes maybe... If these people won't even defend their homeland, the ancestral home, why in the fuck would you want them living in your community?

If the time ever comes you must defend your community, where do you think they'll be? They are as useless as tits on a bull. That is the primary reason not to accept these type (young strong single male) refugees.

Okay...let's get rid of all those religious refugees that came to America to escape persecution in Europe rather than stand and fight the Catholic Church or Church of England...that'll get rid of a bunch. Then the Irish that fled the potato famines rather than fighting the landlords...all the Germans, Poles, Italians, French, Spanish, hell, anyone whose families came from Europe to escape persecution or try to make a better life. Then we can start returning the Asians, Africans, send 'em all back. Damn, that's easy, innit?

"Give me your poor, your tired, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free...unless, of course, they're Muslim, 'cause, like, we don't like them..."

Emma Lazarus wrote that sonnet to raise money for the pedestal base of the French given statue in 1883.
Not like that is the US National motto.
I love when lib's use that train of thought as if all of a sudden we should accept everyone that knocks on the door.
    Pfft! Bullshit!!!

      No.
      Not anyone.
The US, like any other country, has the obligation to know who is coming in, and screen out the undesirables.
Poor, Tired, huddled masses are not "undesirable".
All the otherwise good poor, tired, huddled masses need is the freedom to succeed.

The drug runners, the sex marketers, the people coming here illegally with ill intent are the ones needing screening.

The refugees sometimes have no choice; Shooter has told the story of his friend from Iran who literally ran from his house with what was on his back. Half his family was killed during the Iranian revolution; he was 10 years old at the time.

He's one of the most patriotic Americans, and very successful in the bargain. A good American.

So, from calm but tense to a police charge on horseback...kinda reminds me of Montgomery, Alabama, or the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma...them damn pesky peaceful protesters.
