170MPH in a UH-1 "Huey". Yes I was flying it just yesterday used be owned by the Marine Corps back in the 80's. It is not from Vietnam most of those hueys were destroyed or dumped in the ocean only 37 of them made it back. It is however considered a Vietnam era huey.

 

I own a 2011 ZR1 Corvette but I've never had it above 110MPH

 

Hueys may just be my favorite helicopter of all time. I'm trained as an airplane mechanic, so I know a few

 

Mine too. Because of what I did in the military I had to take a course on the operation of them in case of a emergency. But up until yesterday had never flown one only unltra lights. I bought it from a company in Mexico a few weeks ago and had it flat bedded to me. Came with a extra set of rotors and spare engine. I hired a pilot to ride with me until I figure it out.

I have 2 year degrees in diesel tech,collision refinishing,metal fabrication,service management and a 4 year in agronomy.

Nice, I've trained for four years as a airplane mechanic (piston engines, gasturbines, avionics, guidance systems) I'm a mechanical engineer and industrial designer, and i'm working on my masters degree. I actually used a lot of aerospace engineering to fix my bike ('81 Honda CB 750c)

When I was 15 I spent a weekend in a beach house with a bunch of friends, somewhere along the line someone had the bright idea of giving me the keys to a giant truck with a v8 engine. I got up to about 110 mph (or somewhere around there) on some sketchy back roads. It's a miracle nothing bad happened

 

113ish mph... moderately sure the speed limit was 65 on that road... oh well

It could have gone 1,400 or faster. That's just when I started to loose control I'm not a trained fighter pilot USAF pilots have more simulator time before they get in a jet than I have total flight time.
