Calgary is killing themselves with penalties and just killed one of 7 so far. Anaheim scored on 2 of them to take the lead though and less than 7 minutes left in the 3rd.

Fuck around, no sooner do I mention it and Calgary takes another stupid crosschecking penalty as a retaliation for one of his players getting rocked by Getzlaf.

 

You have to wonder sometimes and can see that some of these guys are still young and learning. Anaheim had a powerplay and had worn the Flames penalty killers down and as Calgary killed off the penalty some dummy on Anaheim iced the puck which allowed the Flames to make a line change. Had they played on they would have outpowered the tired penalty killers and made a good scoring opportunity.

Now Calgary goes on the PP with 3 minutes left. Actually it will be a 5 on 3 for Calgary with a second highsticking penalty. Here is their last kick at the can ...
