I am not sure about rape being a preexisting condition and will have to look into it. But I do know prior to the ACA if a woman ended up in the hospital from being beaten by her husband many insurance companies refused to pay her medical bills saying the abuse constituted a preexisting condition. And thanks to Trump and the GOP they are trying to go back to those days.

I don't know how many times I have debunked both those lies on this forum but the liars just keep telling them.

That said, the Senate will rework it and bring it back into reality for those that will be punished by the current wording ... including repeat pregnancies that under this law will constitute a pre-existing condition and be cost prohibitive to expectant mothers. Postpartum and C-sections also apply. Lets not even get started with all of the crazies walking the streets either heavily over medicated or worse yet under medicated ...

The goal here is for the feds to defund Medicaid slowly and put the burden on the States. There is an expected 880 billion dollar saving over the next 10 years ...

I generally refrain from being short with people but there is a way to relay a question in a fashion that does not display aggression and a few well chosen words could accomplish the same result yet still invite a conversation rather than illicit negativity is what I am getting at .
If someone that kills people for a living can show respect to people here I am sure you can as well but you are free to harbor hostility if that satisfies your appetite . Also, my "aggression" is fully warranted. It is nothing but hateful to exclude any kind incidents of rape from coverage. Can you think of one instance where it would be justified to exclude?

 

What a phony bullshit totally detached from reality stupid thing to say. The Democrats wrote the bill that said rape and domestic abuse COULD NOT BE CONSIDERED A PREEXISTING CONDITIONS. And it is Trump and the conservative/Republican/Tea Party/White Supremacists in the House who just wrote the bill allowing rape and domestic abuse to be preexisting conditions again.

And also so hypocritical when the PR hacks and their many many socks, Trump supporters, and troll/socks sure don't have any problem with being aggressive towards us, making false accusations, out and out lying, and even changing what someone said in a quote and then attributing their words to the person they quoted. Which is just about as low as an epic loser can sink.

The term "pre-existing condition" has been in the news recently, because Democrats are trying to redefine it. The term is supposed to mean, a medical or health condition that one experiences prior to applying for health insurance (which according to standard actuarial tables may mean that the subject should be paying a higher premium). But Democrats are twisting it, in attempts to challenge elements of Obamacare repeal, by claiming "pre-existing condition" refers to the condition of being covered (for free or virtually free) under Obamacare. To wit, "I was covered before, so it's a pre-existing condition, and even if Obamacare is repealed, the insurance companies still have to cover me."

This is the usage that has been in the real news for the past two weeks.

And I for one have no idea what this has to do with rape. So the OP should explain the question or link to something with context.

Health Care is a pointless discussion for us all. The Politicians are playing their normal games and we are the pawns. Whether it's Obama care or Trump care it will all collapse inside of 10 years under the weight of ever increasing copayments and deductibles.
