  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

Actually she's too tall for me to because I think she's like 5 foot eight . But I still love her face and her shape .

But I will admit that that short hair season or two was not very flattering to her

Look at what is happening in Durango, Colorado. Legalized pot is ruining the town.

Okay, I thought we were trashing California but I'll bite. What's happening in Durango? I haven't been there.

I certainly hope it's not a cesspool. Or that the crime rate is higher than Detroit. City streets are so bad that fire trucks get stuck in the potholes.
There is more running down the street from leaks in the water lines than going to the housed.
It isn't unusual to see geysers shooting 50' in the air from broken water lines.;)

Why not do a simple search. You will find out what is happening there and it will be much better stated than I can ever do.

I would expect the people that live in the city know more about it than the anti-marijuana reporter who was there strictly to put out a hit piece on weed.
But then anti-marijuana folks will jump on his story like it's gospel told by Jesus himself. Funny how that works these days.

It is the job of Durango Business Improvement District to cover up the fuck ups of the city.
      Notice the business improvement part?

Whatever. I personally don't think you know anymore about the city of Durango than your hit piece reporter does or I do for that fact.

Cities like Grand Junction, Salt Lake City and Albuquerque also have problems with panhandling, but they don’t have legalized marijuana. And Cortez, 50 miles west of Durango, has legalized marijuana but not a panhandling problem.

Don't know about Grand Junction or Salt Lake City but my uncle used to own a shopping mall in Albuquerque.
I visited him many times. Most of the panhandlers in Albuquerque were from the reservations near there.

So, the story is, since Colorado legalized Marijuana, Durango has seen a big influx of homeless drug addicts from neighboring states. They trash the streets and parks, and harass the upstanding citizens.

As an aside, Shooter just moved to Colorado from Arizona (and retired!!:)) and even though he knew the traffic would be as bad as LA on a Saturday night with a major accident on the 405, he has been surprised by the number of pan handlers and vagrants hanging around. They are aggressive as well; Shooters wife was accosted by a scoundrel wanting "food money" outside the grocery store, and Shooter had to get somewhat rude with the fucker before he backed off.

Shooter is not so shallow as to blame legalized marijuana on the problem. Fox news said it was the marijuana thing in Durango.

But then Durango has been a liberal hippy haven for at least 25 years.

I have been retired for probably 7 years. I like it, wish I would retired sooner.
I went to work one day and took a good look around and asked myself what in the hell was I doing putting up with this shit.
Asked the boss for a sheet of paper. He said get your own damn paper. I did and put in my 2 weeks notice.

    "Well, yes, there is that.
Did you ever watch All in the Family?
The first Hollywood jab at conservatives."

What's weird is that all in the family happens to be on TV right now as I write this .

Norman Lear made a ton of money making Archie Bunker a walking bundle of straw man arguments. He was excellent at making conservatives look like complete bumbling fools.

In spite of that I did like the show but It could never ever ever make it on TV today because even though the things that are she said were intended to be ironic they would still be considered to be too politically incorrect.

And incidentally sally Struthers was quite attractive back then.

    1. shootersa
Shooter would have eaten the insoles out of Sally Struthers running shoes when she was on All in the Family.

Of course, Shooter was a testosterone saturated youth at the time, and would have fucked a duck if he could have caught one ...............

The first episodes of that show are almost 50 years old .

There are a lot of antebellum sensibilities in the south that I find charming . It is half of my heritage after all.

My family originally settled in Jackson Mississippi and Des Moines Iowa and Rich Hill Missouri. I'm not sure if that part of Missouri would be considered the south or not .

Gov. Brown Calls Law-Abiding California Taxpayers 'Freeloaders'
Monica Sanchez | 18 hours ago

In response to criticism over a new $52 billion tax hike for the already heavily-taxed state, Gov. Jerry Brown (D-Calif.) called upset taxpayers “freeloaders.”

“The freeloaders — I’ve had enough of them,” Brown said at an event in Orange Country last week.

Yes, law-abiding Californians who work and pay taxes are “freeloaders” according to his liberal logic, just because they don’t support getting taxed even more than they already are.

Never mind that people living in California are struggling already with the outrageously high and unregulated rent prices, high gas costs, and high taxes for simply residing in The Golden State.

Gov. Brown attempted to justify his remark by saying that the tax legislation put forward by state Democrats – which would include a 12 cent increase in the gas tax and an increase of $50 for annual vehicle registration fees – adjusts for inflation and is required in order to repair the state's roads.

“Roads require money to fix,” said Brown. “Republicans say there’s a magic source of money — it doesn’t exist."

"You want to borrow money and pay double? Or do nothing? Or take money from universities?” he asked.

No, of course not. But maybe let's try to allocate state funds more efficiently instead of asking taxpayers to fork out more of the income they need to make a living?

Someone has to pay for the care of all those illegal people in California's sanctuary citizens, might as well be Rixer and all his neighbors. It's not like they need the money anyway, I mean they do burn it up, goes up in smoke.
Although Rixer is one of the lucky ones, what about the poor widow pensioner just barely making ends meet? Yeah sock it to the old FREELOADER...

California is a real life example of what is wrong with big government, the provider of all things to all people-- if it suits the government to provide it.

If you are wealthy and can afford the good neighborhoods, California is probably the best place to live in the whole world .

If you are not wealthy it can be terrifying and miserable

    Simple as that.

    I lived it

    And I left it .

And I have never looked back .

I'm so glad I have you haters from out of state enlighten me about the perils of living in California. Silly me, I've been enjoying life here.

And Mr. Smith, you don't have a clue my friend. I'm not a lucky person. I struggled and worked hard all my life, nothing comes easy old buddy.;) That's what a responsible person does, we work hard, pay off our homes over the years, live below our means and save regularly.

    No luck involved.

Yes we have issues like everyone else but we roll with it. There are way to many enjoyable benefits to living in California. There's more to life than arguing over politics. Try it sometime.;)

I do indeed. Are you going Grand Canyon with them?
      If so, motors or oars?
      And when?

I was sure you knew them. Yes Grand Canyon. I'll check motors or oars and get back to you
in some obscure way, and it's the first part of June 2018. So it's definitely a commercial operation.

But yes, Alabama appreciates Rixer staying in the golden state. Texas does too, BTW.

Rixer ol' pal, never did I mean to insinuate you did not struggle to get your business going. Starting out on your own is always stressful on you. What I was attempting to convey, you are lucky you made it. You worked hard, invested well and are living a comfortable retirement, unlike the many thousands of young people trying to make a go of it. Also I'm sure there are thousands of retired people just scraping by on a fixed income. Those are the folks that can't say as you can, well 12.50 a week won't break me. A 50 dollar increase in my auto registration won't hurt me. Many are not so lucky. Imagine if California didn't have to educate hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants? How can we justify that to our older retired citizens on a fixed income? Just enforce the laws, that is all they ask.

      Thanks for your concern.;)

and by the fucking way, what do you mean "unlike the rest of the young people trying to make it".

I was young and trying to make it at one point too. Don't be a fucking idiot. Times were tough back then and we stuggled just like everybody else. Except now days it's even easier with all the help.

So get off your high horse, I'm sick of it.
