I am so sick of hearing about this Trump garbage and shut off the news anytime something about him comes on but it is everywhere on every site and news. We Canadians roll our eyes and say not again. Enough drama. Why doesn't everyone just get to work and stop talking about it 24/7.

Now back to your post - one doesn't get anywhere by building a wall, instead we extend our table. If we were privileged enough to be able to have others sit at our table then why not include then. Some say you get what you give or karma so by building a wall what kind of karma are you putting out? I have to wonder what was done to some of you to make you want to hoard and be greedy instead of open and giving. It isn't even our land, it belongs to God and we are simply using it for a short time.

The vast majority of the posts here make me wonder if any of you have ever ventured out of your idyllic little communities, let alone out of the country, and I'll not even question as to whether it was of the third world... Or, what strange alternative dimension you all live in where such absurd things happen.

On the whole, Mexicans are a tough proud people that can endure a hell of a lot more than the typical American can even consider imagining. Bluntly, skipping all of the rhetoric, this is not a game or opponent that we want to go down this path with.

Not that it matters anyway. Trump is all bluff and bluster, a bully who will go after only the weakest. In this case, that means his own citizenry. He'll "settle out of court" with Mexico just like he always does when the other won't back down. Start saving your milk money now.

It applies to the relationship between service managers and mechanics: Never try to fuck over a mechanic. For every time you think you've fucked him, he'll fuck you five times, and if you can spot two of them, you're a genius.

 

Seriously though, we do not want to get into a battle of wills with Mexico, and the Mexican people, especially when they're on the side of right.
China, Russia, Germany, etc. would be much easier to deal with.
