So the left didn't like the results of the election so they tried recounts and that didn't work

Then they tried marches in the streets in an organized temper tantrum and that didn't work

Then they tried to convince the electors to vote for someone else and that didn't work

So let's try this now and when that doesn't work they will try something else.

By the rules of the United States Constitution Donald Trump won the United States presidential election in 2016.

This is just as Barack Obama won the presidential election's in 2008 and 2016 .

I was not happy about that but I accepted
That this was the case and I trust our Constitution which I think is the best in the world .

Somehow the Liberals choose to accept the constitution when it suits their interest and attempt to abandon it when it does not .

If this is what you're going to call liberal bashing then by all means call it that.

I don't give a rats ass what is considered modern . In 1972 and before homosexuality was considered a mental illness and that was the modern view at the time .

I'm expressing my opinion that our US Constitution is the best of the world based on my belief that the Federalist papers are among if not the best treatments of political philosophy ever written .

I also believe that pistachio ice cream is the best ice cream .

Yeah you didn't see the right behave like this when Obama won both elections ....You know what I did when Obama won? I got up the next morning and went to work. Sure I bitched for a few days .....Vented my frustrations but I didn't go on Twitter or Facebook all day and blast our President. I knew that Obama was bad news but I hoped that he do the right thing for the American people. I wanted him to succeed. Well all that's history now and all Obama accomplished was ruining relations on a global scale....Made the worse deals with other governments that I've ever seen....Mind blowing , he managed to put 30 million more Americans on food stamps, put all the coal miners out of work, implemented countless amounts of strangle hold regulations which forced small businesses out if business , raised the business tax to 35% ( highest in the world ) which also was horrible for small businesses and drove bigger businesses overseas and my favorite of all .....Obama racked up almost 10 trillion dollars in new debt....After calling George Bush unpatriotic for racking up 3 trillion in debt.
If we can endure all that over the past 8 years I think the left can endure Trump for 8 years....Which they would quit being a bunch of whiny little bitches , man up and except it. Hope that Trump succeeds instead of making up lies about him or ranting about something MSNBC said about him. If you can't handle Trump's Presidency.....Move! Please thougb....if you dont move ...for the love of God stop bitching ...

 

I had a visceral reaction to Obama's election for a couple of days but it was internal and after that I really really hope that I was wrong and then I began to root for him because he was my president .

I was in Los Angeles when Trump won the election and watched on the news as a bunch of effectively children closed down a freeway on a weekday .

Can anyone think of any Democrat that that kind of behavior has happened to?

It's a shame that with the crazy long election cycle that we had to make a choice between Hillary Clinton who is the serial liar and Donald Trump who has no political experience .

To Me the lesser of the two evils was Trump.

I've always said that The president should be chosen from the nations governors but of course this is unconstitutional .

Trump is not mentally Ill but he has learned how to get attention and he is viewing politics is a business model .

I am intrigued to see how this is going to work out .

I've said this before but this is just the latest ploy by people who cannot accept that Donald Trump won the election .

If Hillary Clinton had won and her opponents attacked her this viscerally the left would be screaming about how unfair it was

Ad hominems are the new normal in political discourse as people describe this president . Very few of my detractors on here shrink away from it either .

My policy from here on out will be to ignore anyone who personally attacks without an at least equivalent warrant for their position . Calling me an ass licker or telling me to crawl back under the rock from which I came is not an equivalent warrant for argumentation

Argumentation used to be a requirement for education and one of the seven liberal arts in ancient Greek education . And we used to embrace those seven in our own educational system but sadly no longer.

I guess it's not a surprise that we've come to this . Our media has praised reality and shock TV and whoever says the nastiest thing is now the winner.

I simply cannot waste any further time arguing with people whose position is set and immovable.

As for Donald Trump and the perceived or real indiscretions I suggested people do something about it if they feel so strongly . Write your congressman and encourage them to support articles of impeachment or to encourage the appointment of a special prosecutor or wait two years where every seat in the House of Representatives is up for grabs and about a third of the Senate and vote the people you don't like out.
Don't just sit here and swear and have your temper tantrum's .
It's time to grow up !

During Trump's Reuters' interview he stopped right in the middle of their questions and gave each reporter a copy of his electoral map. Then today he tried to get the Washington Post to run the 2016 electoral map on their front page.

Which are both signs of Trump “malignant narcissism” because he is obsessed with trying to validate his election four months after he was elected.

 

Which is exactly what this country needs right now.....We don't need another political hack
