And yeah, I get it, he personally has not filed bankruptcy, but the companies he has run have while he was in charge of those companies, and with several of those filings it was specifically part of the agreement that he would no longer run those companies.

I don't know if he filed Ch. 11 four times. At least once. But these guys are missing the point. They're lost in sound bites. Trump didn't inherit billions. He inherited businesses. And he went bankrupt in the wake of the S&L disaster, when half the country went bankrupt. Ch. 11 was a tactical move that preserved his assets and allowed his company to recover stronger than it had started.

His father gave him Brooklyn slums and 90 day average back rent. He transformed it into an empire.

These guys compare his articulation and intelligence with Bush Jr. (never mind that W is smarter than Kerry), but I doubt they could tell you anything specific about why they hate him. They just hate him because the talking heads hate him.
