Are the Oscars worth chatting about? I don't understand all these awards organizations who are dependent on us for financing awarding themselves and expecting us to pay to see them. The Oscars have commercials in the USA. American baseball has select reporters vote on who will be in the Baseball Hall of Fame and then they expect the people who have no say, purchase the game tickets and sit through the TV commercials and then shell out even more money to walk through the Hall of Fame! Is this nuts or what? Lots of this around and we line up like lemmings to give these organizations more money for awarding themselves prizes. Fucked up.

 

In short....WHO GIVES A FUCK.

I have not watched the Oscars in decades but it was sure funny how they fucked up best picture....

 

I haven't watched the Oscars in years either and another thing, usually the Best Picture award goes to a movie that sucks donkey dick and bypasses the real entertainment. I'd rather cut my eyelids out, be tied to a chair and forced to watch Giggly on a repeating loop than watch the Oscars.....

If in my opinion La La Land is an oversold musical, I'll be shedding crocodile tears that it was "robbed."

But I will REALLY be pissed if Moonlight turns out to be just another affirmative action vehicle full of dumb-ass teachable moments.

Typically, musicals over over-hyped and almost always just OK.

And black movies are typically over-hyped and almost always suck. And even when they don't suck, most peole who can afford a ticket require an Ebonics-to-English translator.
