When Trump's travel budget is criticized the right yawned and said; "so what?"

No when President Obama's travel expenses were sending up howls from the right we on the left pointed out that President Obama actually took far fewer vacation days than his predecessors.

And now we on the left are pointing out that for all the criticism President Obama got for his travel expenses Trump has already cost the taxpayers as much in his first month as Obamas averaged in a year.

While Trump supporters like you make up excuses for that.

Once again a glaring example of the lie of conservationism as it is preached and practiced in this nation.

I have been fighting the lie of conservatism as it is preached and practiced in this nation ever since the biggest liar to ever preach the lie of conservatism Ronald Reagan was president. And the one thing I have learned is you really can't pin down what conservatism is and who the conservatives are.

Now granted Trump is no conservative but if you try to pin down the Trump supporters to name the real conservatives they have to go back nearly 100 years or name people who a 30 second google search will prove they are lying.

 

Really? But you miss the larger point... I never said "so what!"... My comments are directed at those that complained about the costs under Obama. Well, those costs are projected to be 10 times the size for Trump, except now we are paying for the security for their family business trips. And then you figure in the simple fact that Trump will be putting these people up at his Florida resort, lining his pocket with tax payer money for rents that were increased since his election. Some have complained about how much golf Obama played, and it appears that Trump will outdo him.

My point is if they complained about Obama, how are they so complacent about Trump and how he will be personally profiting from all these trips at a much higher rate than under Obama.

Now what is it that Trump is doing that other Presidents haven't done?
Roosevelt vacationed at his private residence in Georgia.
Truman vacationed regularly in Key West.
Eisenhower liked Colorado. You know, for the golf.
Kennedy did Rhode Island regularly and even rafted the Grand Canyon. You think the Secret Service liked that idea?
Johnson used his ranch in Texas, and boy did that piss off the neighbors.
Nixon did California. You can even buy his house in San Clemente, if you have $68 Million or so.
Ford liked Vail. That, the Secret Service said, was almost as big a pain in the ass and as expensive as Kennedy's rafting trip.
Carter now, Carter liked Camp David. But he also did some rafting. It played hell with the Secret Service's little ear buds.
You probably recall Reagan's ranch in California. The Secret Service liked it, since most of the security work had already been done by the state when Reagan was governor.
Both Bush's liked their ranches in Texas. The secret service, not so much.
Clinton, well, he liked the Caribbean. The secret Service did too, but not for why you might think.
Obama liked Las Vegas and Hawaii. Tell me he wasn't taking care of business in Las Vegas. He also vacationed on Richard Branson's private island in the Caribbean.
Trump uses his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.

So, what was the issue again?
Oh yeah. If someone bitched about Obama's vacations, where's the bitching about Trumps vacations?
Every President has had to listen to the bitching about the cost of protecting them while they jet about taking care of business. And sometimes, listen to the Secret Service bitch about sand in the gear.
