NO I am not addicted to drugs or alcohol, I am addicted to this site and can't even go halfway around the world without stopping in here. Granted I have the mother of all hangovers due to not being a drinker but made an effort to change that last night, which was mistake number two and here I sit nursing my throbbing brain and too hungover to go outdoors today. Tomorrow is another day and we will just rest today.

I am NOT the only one addicted to this place and you can say all you want that you could come and go as you please which is only fooling yourself. YOU ALWAYS COME BACK ...

I use this place as a way to kill time when I am working during the day making trades and during open trades I post here to get the question of whether or not I made the right choice out of my mind and concentrate on getting the win. That is a double edge sword for me as it helps kill time but gives me my "fix" at the same time. I may have a little "over sharing" problem LOL.

For me it is only a matter of time before I leave this place behind in the next 525 days or so ... my sweety gets most of my attention when she is in my presence so that is one good thing.

 

Step 1. I am powerless over this forum, and it makes my life unmanageable.

Step 2. I accept that I and powerless over this forum, thereby skipping the remaining ten steps.

 

I have one of those jobs too. Plus, I have a 90 minute train ride. This site is one of the ways I kill time. I'm off for the next few days, so I'll be hanging around I'm sure.

 

I have a somewhat different way of looking at this place. I come here almost every day, but it is a harmless addiction. I will never meet anyone on this site, and therefore the banter in which I engage does not affect my life. I am able to be myself here, and do not have to put up a "face" to the world. I have always been somewhat of a contrarian in life and this site allows me to be just that. I am myself, for better or worse, here. I like certain members due to their projected faces, and I dislike others for the same reasons.

 

The thing is with guys like us that use this as a distraction, people think you have nothing but time on your hands and don't have a life ...

I have a VERY good life actually but I don't like people much so don't spend my time running from place to place all day long and am stuck in front of a computer for trading anyway so as I answer the over 100 emails I get on a slow day I take a break here and have a piece of shit computer dedicated just to this site that is on the side of my desk all day long so my other ones don't work overtime with the antivirus running all day.

Like right now I have my travel laptops so I can watch my sports from back home and still stay in contact with clients and the like as well as keep my blog current and add pics of our trip for those that I allow to subscribe to the blog and YouTube channel.

"Harmless" may be over simplifying it but ya it won't kill you. It does have a tendency to make a person jaded and suspicious of others though, case in point Nicole and and her merry band of rejects (ms.man and zolpedemDrip) ...

I am a contrarian of sorts as well but more so in my trading habits and the "herd mentality" here can be destructive.

Large numbers expected at Irish language protest march


A large number of campaigners are expected on the streets of West Belfast today for a protest march in support of an Irish Language Act.

The parade is to start at the Cultúrlann Irish language centre on the Falls Road at 12pm before making its way to City Hall.

The police are warning that there could be traffic disruption around the Falls, Divis Street, Castle Sreet and around City Hall between 12pm and 3pm.

North Belfast Sinn Féin election candidate John Finucane has called on people throughout Belfast to “show their support” for an Irish Language Act by attending the Lá Dearg march.


He said the event “is an opportunity for Gaels and those who support equality throughout Belfast and the North to show their support for an Irish Language Act”.

The Westminster candidate added: “All citizens of the North are entitled to equal rights and for their culture to be treated with respect and dignity and to be equal under the law.


“Ten years ago the British government and the DUP agreed to an Irish Language Act but they have failed to honour that agreement and other agreements on equality and legacy.

“This Lá Dearg march is about equality, respect and rights for all. Equality threatens no one. Those against equality have attempted to block an Irish Language Act but they will not succeed.


“The North has a thriving Irish language community and thousands of children are being educated daily through the medium of Irish. They are the future and they demand equality. The Irish language is for all and I would call on people to come out and show their support.”

It is expected many of those taking part in the march will be wearing Lá Dearg T-Shirts with the movement's white circle on a red background logo.

 

Hey all you Canuckistanians, I read somewhere on this site a while back that Tim Hortons was a Canadian sorta like McDonalds in the US. Well I spotted a Tim Horton in a nearby city and stopped by to sample what Canadians considered a good Hamburger. SUR PRIZE. Tim Hortons don't sell no fuckin hamburgers, so it ain't like McDonalds. It sells buns, rolls, bagels, and BAD coffee. It should be compared to a shitty version of Dunn Bros coffee shop. I guess the comparison was meant to imply that the Tim's were everywhere, like Micky D's are in the US.

I may have already posted this rant but it deserves a second go-round.
