  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

Stewart pulled a top 5 today. Danica led more laps than she ever has. Denny got revenge for Sonoma. Truax provided excitement. And Brad admitted he was wrong.
Dale Jr admitted this concussion scared him. Look for Jr to win a race when he comes back Cole Trickle style.
And lastly I would like your opinion about Kyle Petty.

    Congratulation to Jimmie Johnson.

He is now tied with Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt at 7 championship wins. I was rooting for Edwards...oh well.

Number 7 and well deserved. JJ has proven that he knows how to work the chase format, on top of being a really great driver.

14 cars left at the finish and Kurt Busch pulls off the win for Stewart-Hass Racing. Great finish!

Good post sweety but it's "Haas" btw. I have known Gene for years when I was in the Indy Cart F1 series and he was in F1.

I am surprised that there were any cars left to finish the race after that demolition derby all day partly due to some over-aggressive driving by some and that last wreck collected a lot of cars ... owners hate wrecks, fans like them lol.

The whole Daytona 500 experience is a class act so it is no surprise that they would put on a good show. I have been to a bunch of them and they never disappoint.

Without rednecks, I mean southerners, there would be no NASCAR lol.

You were doing well there... until your leftist racist views became apparent. Shame...

Don't quite get where the racist part comes in or the leftist part either ??? So you have to be a liberal to think there is such a thing as Smiths, I mean rednecks ...

"redneck"...'' spoken with disdain... a derogatory term liberal's love to use. Which is shocking to me because I had always thought until recently the Democrat party was a party of inclusion. However recently I notice today's democrats are as bad as the old KKK democrats. It appears it's true, a leopard can't change his spots. Certainly you could have left out redneck, everyone would know what a Southerner is.

The new format is BS, NASCAR is dieing a slow painful death.

I like how they were boasting of a sell out crowd but failed to mention that they took out all of the seats in the backstretch.

The Monster Girls were an improvement, but probably not enough to keep me tuned in.

Yeah, it does appear to be weird having stages. I thought about it after they "cruised" leisurely around the track for several laps and came up with this... it's their break time. You know like most of us have at work.

Stages? Stages? Whutdafuck? Five minute rule?

What happened to all out, balls-to-the-wall racing?

I guess it's too late to change the thread title to NASCAR used to rock...

The crack whore abandoned it a long time ago when NASCAR started letting idiots drive in wrecking machines.

There was a time when we had respect for each other on a race track and these fuckers these days are far to aggressive without being able to control there driving in a pack. It is called the 500 for a reason ...

Part of the problem with racing is the point system and too many drivers get hung up on racking up points inside a race for things like laps lead, etc. Drop all that shit and give points finish placing only.

That is why I switched to FunnyCar years ago and since then I have only been wiped out once when my opponent bounced the centerline. Now two women carry on that racing tradition on our team, I'm too old and broken to race anymore.

Harvick gave it away today with speeding in the pit with only a few laps left. Keselowski takes Atlanta.

There sure were a lot of blown tires in the race yesterday, not so good for the tire manufacturers but some tracks are harder on tires than others, especially the ones with tight turns and less track slope ... and driving like an idiot doesn't help.

I know they don't have speedometers, but there are still speed restrictions.

Most people don't realize the amount of wear and tear a race takes on the driver. A crack or imperfection in the surface can act as a speed bump when in top gear at full speed. Try riding a horse at full speed for 500 miles if you still can't comprehend that lol. A driver can also lose as much as 10 pounds during a race due to fluid loss and you can't pull off for a pee during a race BUT it needs to go somewhere, you figure it out from there ... more than a 3% loss of body fluids affects a drivers focus and reflexes. There are fluid delivery systems in all stock cars.

The average temperature at the floorboards can exceed 150 degrees (170 is normal) ...

The Service King 300 goes today in the XFINITY Series and the Auto Club 400 Sunday in the Monster Energy Series. Both races are in Fontana California.

Driver Travis Watts (77 car) was involved in a hit and run on the highway earlier this week on the way to the track. The trailer and cars were spared damage but another tractor needed to complete the journey. Sunoco Rookie of the Year candidate Erik Jones drives the 77 car.

Another one in the books and the rules never fail to amaze me. I thought I was watching football for a second there when a "too many men over the wall" penalty was called lol. 9 cars DNF.

This might be the day that Nascar dies.
Dale Earnhardt Jr has announced that he will retire after this year. Expect an upsurge in attendance for the rest of this season and then..........
Maybe half of the remaining fans will go.
