Most of us have had pets one time or another. Some of us still do. I talked to this guy recently in another chat site who had a Boa Constrictor for a pet. For those of you who are wondering, a Boa constrictor is a particular species of snake. Yup. You heard it right. I was slightly freaked out. Apparently it grows to about 8-10 feet in length, has a life span of about 30 - 35 years and can weigh as much as 50 pounds.

This got me thinking.

Would I ever date a girl with a snake for a pet? I mean, I don't have anything against snakes and I don't mean to offend anyone with a snake for a pet. Snakes have a place in this world too. It's definitely not in my bedroom. I'm not getting naked in bed with a girl, no matter how hot she is, if there is a snake slithering around in a glass case behind us.

What kind of pets do you guys own? Would any one date some one with a snake, frog, lizards, scorpions, tarantulas? Have you ever dated someone with an 'exotic' pet? Where would you guys draw the line?And while we are there, how many of you are comfortable with having sex while your pet is in the same room? You are also welcome to post any funny stories or anecdotes about your or your partners pets. Just remember this thread has been posted in 'sexuality'

(Again, I don't mean to offend anyone with these exotic(for lack of a better word) animals as pets. NO!! This is not meant to be another beastiality thread. )

 

Well to up the notch of reptile creepy, I had a box turtle his name was Hub. He was my best friend. I used to sleep with him in my bed. Like a teddy bear. (I was 13-15) he went everywhere I did. And I miss him dearly. I guess the point is. When you think of the animal. Either Reptile, Dog, cat, whatever the case. It all matters as to what role it plays in their life. For me i didn't have many friends or girlfriends. But I had Hubs

 

Well turtles are pretty docile. They don't shed skin. They are not noisy and you will always be faster then them. And I love TMNT. So turtles are pretty cool in my book. But i don't think you can play fetch with it, though.

 

I have owned rabbits, Guinea pigs, mice, rats, fish, dogs, cats, hamsters, horses, chipmunks and a chilled copper tarantula

 

Everything except the spider seems okay with me. I am not afraid of spiders. It just creeps me out. I whack them dead with a rolled up newspaper, usually.

You are too hot, to not date just because you own a tarantula.

Just wondering, who or what coaxed you into buying a spider?

We've got a cat, and I had a rabbit when I was a kid. Nothing really exotic.

Yeah I bet he is rather pleased with that too lol, only if you are her prey, if annoyed she would fire hairs our out of her butt which are like been stings so only dangerous if you get from bees anaphylaxis

 

Cats & Rabbits are cute. Perfect pets for girls. I've had rabbits when I was a kid. Two of em. My neighbours cat ate them!!
By the way, do you let your cat in your room, while you are doing the dance with no pants?

 

If I ever get in bed with a girl who has a pet 'tarantula' I am leaving the lights ON!! And maybe ask her to bring a friend along to keep an eye on the eight legged cock blocker.

 

That's a common mistake, turtles can be very fast. They can become dry and peel skin, they do make noise and I've played worm fetch with my turtle. Only he eats it when arrived lol pond turtles will take off like a torpedo when scared.

 

That's was always so fascinating! Its like a personal hairy breath intake in doom. Lol

My younger bro babysat a small boa for the neighbor. The dog tipped over the cage and it got loose..this is no shit. His kids barely slept and his wife slept at her sisters freaking out it was loose in the house. About two weeks later the fucker shows up dead in the bottom of the washing machine while changing loads. He had picked the thing up mixed in with clothes, washed it and never knew. I'm just saying...fuck snakes for pets.

I know of people who own guinea pigs, others who have cats, and many who have dogs and won't accept anything else as a real pet.

 

I knew what Pet Peeves meant. And Snakes in the bedroom are kind of a "pet peeve" of mine. Didn't you get that by now? Either way, I apologise for the confusion.

 

i don't do pets anymore because since childhood every damn one i ever had always got killed after i got very attached to them. They would die or disappear and it was too much to keep going through every 5 or so years so i finally said fuck it no more pets after the last dog i had became ill and i had to put him down. my avatar is my pet now.
