White supremacist who killed black man only regrets his victim wasn’t younger and ‘more successful’

The white supremacist Army veteran who stabbed an elderly black man to death in New York City says he wishes he’d killed “a young thug” or someone “more successful” than his 77-year-old victim.

The New York Daily News said that James Jackson — a former military intelligence specialist who traveled from Baltimore to New York City on a mission to murder black men with a sword — gave a “self-aggrandizing, emotionally detached” statement on Sunday regarding the murder of Timothy Caughman last week.

“I’m sorry I killed that man,” said Jackson, 28. “It was pitch black, I picked a dark place. I didn’t know he was elderly.”

He says now that he wishes he’d killed “a young thug” or “a successful older black man with blondes…people you see in Midtown.”

The killer — who police say rode the bus from Baltimore expressly to kill black men in the streets of New York for maximum media impact — said that he did not hate Caughman because it would be beneath him.

“I don’t hate anyone I don’t think is on my level,” Jackson said.

Caughman was walking by himself at around 11:30 Monday night when Jackson attacked him, plunging a sword with an 18-inch blade into the elderly man’s chest. He turned himself in to police on Wednesday.

The killing, Jackson said, was a practice run for a larger plan in which he hoped to convince white women not to have relationships with black men.

“Well, if that guy feels so strongly about it,” Jackson said he hoped women would think, “maybe I shouldn’t do it.”

Killing was not as satisfying as he’d hoped, Jackson said.

“I got depressed…I saw it was too late. It’s irreversible,” he told the Daily News, adding, “I didn’t want to put my family through any more pain.”

Jackson said his family did not raise him to be this way.

“My family is as liberal as they come…typical liberal Democrats,” he said, but confided that he has felt violent antipathy toward black people since around the age of 3.

“The white race is being eroded… No one cares about you. The Chinese don’t care about you, the blacks don’t care about you,” he said before urging a female Daily News reporter to have children, saying, “Good white women should have as many children as possible.”

His ideal vision of society, Jackson said, is “1950s America.”

When it was pointed out to him that it’s now 2017, Jackson said, “I know. I’m too late. We’re screwed.”

‘White power,’ swastikas cover wall at Phoenix high school amid another wave of racist graffiti

Several swastikas and the words “white power” were spray painted over a wall at a Phoenix High school Saturday morning amid a fresh wave of racist graffiti across the United States.

Phoenix police confirmed they are investigating the incident at Pinnacle High School, which saw graffiti, including swastikas and racist messages, painted over the exterior wall to the auditorium and a nearby pillar. The incident is being investigated by the force’s bias crime unit, they told NBC 12 News.

The local Paradise Valley Unified School District added that it had immediately taken steps to remove the graffiti.

“PV Schools does not tolerate this type of behavior,” communications specialist Becky Kelbaugh told The Arizona Republic. “We were notified this morning that Pinnacle High School was vandalized with racist symbolism and wording. The Phoenix Police Department was immediately contacted, and our Facilities Department is onsite cleaning up the vandalism.”

The local chapter of the Anti-Defamation League, a Jewish civil rights group, said it took the incident extremely seriously.

“ADL finds the vandalism disturbing,” Carlos Galindo-Elvira, regional director of the Anti-Defamation League in Arizona, told NBC 12 News. “We find the language to be racially charged, the use of a hate symbol to be inappropriate and certainly the language that was used to denote African-Americans, truly disturbing.”

The incident was just one of several instances of white supremacist imagery being graffitied across the country over the weekend. In North Carolina, at least three upscale communities in Gastonia and Clover had swastikas and “KKK,” a reference to the Ku Klux Klan, spray painted on outside walls.

White gun owner shot himself — and then tried to pin the blame on a nonexistent black man

A Minnesota man has joined the brave ranks of white gun-owners defending the public from imaginary black men.

33-year-old Christopher Thissen told police that the gunshot wound he sustained resulted from a fight with a black man who threatened to harm a bartender, Owatonna.com reports. But upon review of surveillance footage police saw no evidence of a struggle. When further prodded by detectives, Thissen revealed a very different chain of events.

“Thissen told police he’d left the bar at closing and “found the gun in his car,” at which point he held it pointing at his arm while cycling it to see if it was loaded, and accidentally fired it when his thumb slipped off the hammer. He admitted he’d made up the story about the fight in the parking lot,” Owatonna.com reports.

Thissen faces a misdemeanor charge for falsely reporting a crime, as well as reckless discharge of a firearm. Needless to say things could have ended much worse if police had continued to be on the hunt for a gun-wielding black man: 32-year-old Philando Castile was shot dead by police in Minnesota as he was informing an officer that he was licensed to carry a gun, according to his girlfriend.

As City Pages darkly quipped, “The black man described in Thissen’s original story is still at large. He is a suspect in hundreds of other police investigations, historically, and is expected to continue popping up at the scenes of crimes that did not happen.”

‘Donald Trump is in the house’: NYC subway rider threatens to ‘kill’ Iranian couple in racist tirade

A man shouting racial epithets told an Iranian couple in New York City to “go back to your own country,” before warning he’ll “kill all three of you at one time,” Gothamist reports.

Mahsa Mehrdad, a 32-year old Ph.D student at NYU and Masih Rahmati were riding the C train in Manhattan when a man with a bike began cursing and threatening them, according to a video posted on Facebook.

In the video, the man can be heard saying, “Donald Trump is in the house,” before promising to kill the couple and a bystander sitting near them.

“I was very nervous that he would do something, so I was ready if he attacked for us to run away or to block him from my girlfriend,” Mehrdad told Gothamist.

“At one point he looked at my girlfriend and said, ‘I will kill you first,’” Mehrdad said.

The couple showed the video to police, who said they could file a police report but warned there was little authorities could do, as the man appeared mentally ill. Mehrdad and Rahmati declined to file a report.

Two black women hit Fox News with lawsuit claiming ‘top-down racial harassment’

Two black women filed a lawsuit on Tuesday against Fox News for racial discrimination they experienced while working at the news network, the New York Times reports.

Tichaona Brown and Tabrese Wright, who managed and coordinated the payroll department, accused Fox’s former comptroller, Judith Slater, of “top-down racial harassment.” Brown and Wright allege in their case that Slater made comments calling black men “women beaters” and about black people wanting to cause physical harm to white people.

The women filed the suit in State Supreme Court in the Bronx. Their lawyers, Douglas H. Wigdor and Jeanne Christensen, said, “We are confident that the good men and women of the Bronx will hold Fox accountable for what we believe to be its abhorrent racist conduct, reminiscent of the Jim Crow era.”

In a statement to Mediaite, Fox News said, “We take any complaint of this nature very seriously and took the appropriate action in investigating and firing Ms. Slater within two weeks of this being brought to our attention. There is no place for abhorrent behavior like this at Fox News.” Slater was fired on Feb. 28.

A Fox news spokesperson issued the following statement to Raw Story:

We take complaints of this nature very seriously and took prompt and effective remedial action before Ms. Brown and Ms. Wright sued in court and even before Ms. Wright complained through her lawyer. There is no place for inappropriate verbal remarks like this at Fox News. We are disappointed that this needless litigation has been filed.

The lawsuit was filed the same day host Bill O’Reilly made a racist and sexist comment about California Rep. Maxine Waters’ hair, calling it her “James Brown wig.”

This not the first time Fox News has faced a discrimination lawsuit in the last year. The network’s former CEO Roger Ailes was ousted in July, 2016 over a sexual harassment lawsuit. O’Reilly was accused of similar harassment.

Studies confirm: Trump voters were motivated by racial prejudice — not ‘economic anxiety’

It became conventional wisdom during the presidential campaign that Donald Trump supporters were motivated by bigotry, until the Republican candidate won and it became politically incorrect for Democrats to say that.

But the problem with that forgiving logic is, it’s just not really true, reported The Intercept.

“Whether it’s good politics to say so or not, the evidence from the 2016 election is very clear that attitudes about blacks, immigrants, and Muslims were a key component of Trump’s appeal,” Philip Klinkner, a political scientist at Hamilton College, told the website.

An entire genre of newspaper reports has profiled Trump supporters who regret their votes, now that programs they use are on the chopping block, or still back the president — but a common theme is their disdain for “illegal” immigrants and changing U.S. demographics.

“(Oklahoma widow) Betty Harris voted for Barack Obama when he first ran for president in 2008 because she liked his promise of change,” reported the Washington Post last week. “But he disappointed her in a number of ways, including, in her eyes, being too sympathetic to Muslims. She voted for Republican Mitt Romney in 2012 and Trump last year.”

“She likes the president’s promises to crack down on illegal immigration, which she thinks has hurt the job market, and to bully manufacturers into staying in the country,” the Post added.

Klinker examined a recent study published by American National Election Studies (ANES) and found attitudes toward race, ethnicity and religion — not economic anxiety — offered the best predictor of Trump support.

“Everywhere (divorced Texas school bus driver Tamara) Estes looks, she’s reminded that her country is changing,” the Post reported last month.

“White enrollment in Texas schools recently dipped below 30 percent,” the Post continued. “Hispanics are the new majority; Pew estimates that more than 13 percent of Texas students are the children of undocumented parents. Estes wants a better-paying job but says it’s hard to get one these days if you speak only English. Increasingly, the first question in any job interview is, ‘Habla español?'”

Another Oklahoma senior citizen, 70-year-old Judy Banks, told the New York Times she backed Trump because “he was talking about getting rid of those illegals” — but now she’s worried the president’s proposed budget cuts might cost her job through the Labor Department’s Senior Community Service Employment Program.

“If I lose this job, I’ll sit home and die,” Banks told the Times — yet she might still vote for Trump in 2020.

Klinker wasn’t surprised by the new data — which backed a previous ANES finding that showed white voters who believed Barack Obama was a Muslim were 89 percent more likely to back Trump over Clinton.

And he’s certainly not alone in his conclusion.

Progressives like Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and filmmaker Michael Moore have argued that income inequality — and not bigotry and xenophobia — fueled Trump’s rise, but many analysts aren’t buying that explanation.

“Income predicted support for (John) McCain and (Mitt) Romney, but not Trump,” wrote analysts Sean McElwee and Jason McDaniel recently in The Nation.

Trump won the votes of a majority of non-college-educated whites, but he also won a majority of college-educated whites, and he drew the support of more young white voters than Clinton and a majority of white women.

In fact, white voters backed Trump regardless of their age, gender, income and education.

“Racial identity and attitudes have further displaced class as the central battleground of American politics,” McElwee and McDaniel wrote.

Trump doesn't filter and as a rule has his head is up his ass when he speaks, but even if Trump had been more politically correct in his speech, it wouldn't have mattered. The elite liberals grabbed the sound bite and labeled Trump a racist. Any attempt to counter their shouting only raises the volume. Facts to an elite liberal on the subject of Trump are irrelevant.

Second, elite liberals still have trouble grasping the concept that their man (woman) lost. They are still struggling with how the hell that came to be, and like spoiled children, they simply cannot accept that their man (woman) is the reason they lost. It's not Trump. It's not the Russians. It's not racism, or sexism or homophobia or xenophobia or the unwashed, uneducated, unemployed masses in America who beat Clinton.

Clinton beat Clinton.

Clinton was a candidate with a well deserved reputation as a corrupt influence peddling career politician too closely aligned with the wall street rich and a hypocritical list of talking points against them.

What her supporters refuse to grasp is that Clinton still could have won despite the revelations of her influence peddling, of the e Mail scandal, of her arrogance and smugness.
The tipping point came when she attacked not Trump, and not what Trump stood for (as hotshot fighter pilots say, a target rich environment), but Trumps supporters. Her infamous "deplorable" speech turned out to be the tombstone of her campaign. Americans who were struggling with which villain to vote for, who were wondering; "this is the options? This is the best America has?" heard Hillary scorn Trump supporters, calling them deplorable with all the arrogance and self righteousness of a bridge club grandmother confronted by snot nosed bastard playing with his wienie in the park.
Hillary's nose could not have been higher in the air during that speech if she had been on a ladder. Her smug "we all know .........." remark is as famous as her husbands "I did not have sex with that woman" lie.

That is why Clinton lost and Trump is in the white house.

Not because racist whites voted overwhelmingly for Trump. Not because Trump sold uneducated, unsophisticated American voters false promises of a bright future. Not because racists supported Trump.

Longtime Bannon colleague says he deeply admired Nazi propagandist Leni Riefenstahl

Julia Jones, a longtime collaborator with top White House political strategist Steve Bannon, has revealed that Bannon deeply admired the work of notorious Nazi propagandist Leni Riefenstahl.

Speaking with the New Yorker about Bannon’s past career as a filmmaker, Jones said that her former screenwriting partner was very taken with Riefenstahl’s films, which included the famous Nazi propaganda movie The Triumph of the Will.

“Her playbook was key for him,” said Jones, who co-wrote the script with Bannon for the pro-Reagan documentary In the Face of Evil. “I think he used her technique of fear, which you can see in that movie.”

In addition to his Reagan documentary, Bannon’s other films include an anti-Baby Boomer movie called Generation Zero and a pro-Sarah Palin documentary called The Undefeated, which released in 2011, one year before Bannon became executive chairman of Breitbart News.

Anti-Semitic acts spiked since Trump election win, watchdog says

Anti-Semitic incidents, from bomb threats and cemetery desecration to assaults and bullying, have surged in the United States since the election of President Donald Trump, and a “heightened political atmosphere” played a role in the rise, the Anti-Defamation League said on Monday.

A sharp increase in the harassment of American Jews, including double the incidents of bullying of schoolchildren and vandalism at non-denominational grade schools, was cited in the ADL’s “Audit of Anti-Semitic Incidents.”

Overall, the number of acts targeting Jews and Jewish institutions rose 34 percent in 2016 to 1,266 in 2016 and jumped 86 percent in the first quarter of 2017, the ADL said.

“The 2016 presidential election and the heightened political atmosphere played a role in the increase,” the ADL concluded in its report.

White House spokesman Michael Short said Trump consistently called for an end to anti-Semitism, as recently as Sunday in a speech on Yom HaShoah, Israel’s Holocaust Remembrance Day.

“We must stamp out prejudice and anti-Semitism everywhere it is found,” Trump told the World Jewish Congress Plenary Assembly in New York.

Trump had been criticized for waiting until late February to deliver his first public condemnation of anti-Semitic incidents, previously speaking more generally about his hope of making the nation less “divided.”

He later called such incidents “horrible … and a very sad reminder” of the work needed to root out hate, prejudice and evil.

The majority of anti-Semitic incidents were not carried out by organized extremists and should be seen in the context of a general resurgence of U.S. white supremacist activity, said Oren Segal, director of the League’s Center on Extremism.

“Anti-Semitism is not the sole domain of any one group, and needs to be challenged wherever and whenever it arises,” Segal said in a statement.

Among 34 election-linked incidents cited by the ADL was graffiti posted in Denver in May 2016 that exhorted readers to “Kill the Jews, Vote Trump.”

The League also noted an incident from November when an assailant told a victim in St. Petersburg, Florida: “Trump is going to finish what Hitler started.”

Technology that makes it easier to conduct harassment anonymously contributed to the rising numbers, the ADL said.

Michael Ron David Kadar, an 18-year-old Israeli-American, has been charged with making dozens of bomb threats to Jewish community centers in the United States earlier this year.

Racist Trump fans fear the Jews are taking over after president issues Holocaust Memorial statement

President Donald Trump’s hardcore white supremacist fans have not been shy about expressing their displeasure with some of Trump’s recent foreign policy moves.

After raging against Trump’s decision to launch missiles against the regime of Bashar al-Assad in Syria earlier this month, several high-profile white nationalists also slammed Trump for denouncing the Holocaust as “the darkest chapter of human history” during a speech before the World Jewish Congress Plenary Assembly in New York.

Per Salon, Daily Stormer founder Andrew Anglin this week railed against Trump’s denunciation of the Holocaust while arguing that “our President is being held hostage by vicious Jews” — and he said that Trump no longer had his support.

“I think it is important on a personal and I dare say a spiritual level to understand that the Trump movement was real, Trump was real, he was fighting for us, the people,” Anglin wrote. “But whatever happened around the period of the last week of March, Our President is no longer Our President.”

Similarly, white nationalist David Duke wrote on his website recently that Trump is in danger of being deceived by Jewish advisers, including his son-in-law Jared Kushner, into supporting a more globalist agenda.

“We need to call out the Jewish nature of this coup d’état, and destroy the Jewish privilege of being above any criticism once and for all,” wrote Duke.

That said, Duke isn’t as eager as Anglin to completely turn against Trump, as he believes replacement Mike Pence would be “the biggest cuck in the world.”
