I didn't suggest they were, they were probably decent, law-abiding people, but it was the genesis which culminated in his actions. It was his cultural background which caused him to take such extreme action. If he were anything other than a Muslim, do you think he would have done what he did?

If he has been radicalized then that needs to be investigated and those responsible need to be brought to account!

Obviously he will be investigated, and yes I agree with you those responsible should be brought to account. How do you suggest we moderate Islam? If people are prepared to kill people and don't care if they get killed in the process, there is no or very little chance to negotiate with them.

 

A balanced opinion article suggests that the latest London attack fits the model of the attackers being locally familiar and not recent immigrants!

If it had been in the US, he would have had several high powered weapons and killed many more - as we frequently see in regular mass killings in the US.
