How can stories with no sexual content find their way into a "sex story" forum?

Considering that the GD forum was the right place, because of the words that describe the GD forum.

Please LOOK at the subject matter FIRST before making your judgements; afterall IF stories does NOT contain ANY sexual activity, then WHY place them in a SEX story forum.

 

It's simpler than that. Why not leave well enough alone? Why move the thread NOW, after all these years?

 

I agree with the new mods, it's a story so goes in the story section regardless if it has sex or not it is a story.

 

Then the title of that forum should be changed to just "Stories" because IF there is NO sex in a story then how can it possibly be placed in a "SEX story" forum?

It would be like placing any story from Stephen King in the romance section, next to Barbara Cartland.

 

There is 4 parts to this forum. Stories don't fit in games or pictures and is questionable in GD, so what if there was no sex and title of this section is sex stories you are all being petty because it is still a story. Just like sometimes elephants are put in with the giraffes at the zoo because they are all animals.

It's a porn forum of course the title is sex stories. Go ahead and write a story with no sex and see if it gets moved to GD. I dare ya.

I also go to Starbucks for coffee - a known coffee shop but you know what after 5 pm they serve alcohol...should they no longer be listed as a coffee shop according to your logic?

This is just wrong. Nophest, Lemark, Piggit, Chunky and Nympho all approved of this thread being housed in GD. All the moderators since that time left the thread in GD, as was allowed by the owner. Now it's been moved. It's not right.

There are a total of 6 forums. Conversations about astrology don't belong in Games. Commentary like this does not belong in Sex Stories. It's almost as if someone reported this as being in the wrong forum. It's amazing what Nophest approved before no longer matters.

 

I protest the move of this thread from GD to the Story Forum. It does not belong here.

One, because these are not sex stories. These pieces are impeccably crafted short literature. Stumbler's stories bear a closer resemblance to Currier & Ives prints than the swill that prevails here.

Second, Stumbler is an icon of the GD forum and had neither a presence nor a readership in this cesspool.

You bring up an interesting point. All these things nophest put in place years ago, like the rule against posting recognizable pictures of people without their permission, the rule about posting personal information (email, Skype, Kik addys and similar), the rule about permanently banned members not coming back, nophest's discretion on where threads belonged -- all that ended when he (supposedly) started a thread about hiring paid staff over eleven weeks ago. His account barely posted in that thread, and hasn't been heard from since. And things are going to hell in a hand basket.

Makes me wonder who's running the show.

I think the new mods are doing a great job. It's about time someone whipped this place into shape after so many years of neglect.

The fact is, there has been a long history of nonsexual stories in the sex stories forum. They have always been welcomed. Even some of the fired mods have written some of them. Some of the contests have not only accepted nonsexual stories but they've encouraged them. It's hypocrisy to suddenly cry about it and whine about the sensible actions of the professional mods who are doing a great job. Maybe the old mods are just embarrassed because they let this thread sit in the wrong place for so many years. So now they're trying to act like it was done that way on purpose. Yeah, right.

People who like to read stories can now read the Stumble stories here, right where they belong. As long as he doesn't include any sexual activities involving the kids in his stories, they'll be allowed to stay.

The old mods need to realize that this is a free forum and we don't get to make the rules. The owner does, no one else. If y'all don't like it you can leave and go start your own forum with your own rules. If you stay, you need to follow the rules like everyone else. There's no sense in complaining about every decision the pro mods make. It's just beating a dead horse. Enough already! I'm getting sick of this shit!

The fact is, nothing stays the same. Sometimes the changes are hard to accept, especially when you get kicked out of the "in group" and no longer are exposed all the behind-the-scenes gossip and whatnot. Just get over it and stop whining. Booyah.
