  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

Or make kids more street smart at an early age and enrich their minds with real life knowledge instead of brainwashing them to believe outdated propaganda.

We already invest too much in education. Unionized teachers are making a killing babysitting children and what does it help? The kids are just as stupid but the teachers live a life of luxury with all the benefits of a congressman.
Cut the bastards off and make'em earn a living!;)

It will take 60 votes to pass the replacement after repeal. If the Democrats are going down in 2018 they need to burn it the fuck down and obstruct like the Republicans did for 6 years. Fuck it. Let the Republicans own it and fuck it all up like we know they will. Let the Republicans decide to end the filibuster. It will bite them in the ass.

wrong they just passed a bill today to by pass that BS....

The House of Representatives began the process of dismantling the Affordable Care Act on Friday, approving a budget resolution on a mostly party line vote.

    The vote was 227-198.
The Senate passed the measure earlier this week. It allows Republicans on Capitol Hill to use a process known as "budget reconciliation" to roll back major parts of the health care law. Top Republican leaders are also saying they plan to move to replace Obamacare along the same track, but they are still struggling to come up with the details on how it will work.
    CNN...LOL

    yep it is gonna happen......

The End of the World as We Know It
Many worry that Trump's election is a sign of the apocalypse, but education is one domain where the upheaval is welcome.

American education is one domain where I welcome an end of the world as we know it. Trump's selection of Betsy DeVos as secretary of education signals Trump's desire to "shake up" a bureaucratic approach of delivering teaching and learning in pre-K-20 public and private education, while encouraging blended and alternative models along the way. School choice is part of the equation, though the traditional public school sector is a big area for innovation, too. Most of our children receive their education in these schools and we must make them greater.

The Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 invites governors and state chiefs to do things differently, and they should be encouraged to use that flexibility fully under Trump. This includes empowering teachers to do more in their profession, increasing the use of technology to deliver education and offering more support for students in the juvenile justice system. Finally, it means ensuring that American parents – many of whom turned out in droves to "make America great again" – are empowered to make the best educational choices for their children in 2017 and beyond.

I am all for her then if she can make this a reality.

One thing is that they need to take kids out of the classrooms and put them in real life environments to teach them what they may look forward to as they reach the voting and drinking age.

This may be a small example but we took our youth hockey team to the most modern hockey arena in N America (Rexall Place, home of the Oilers) to show them how to make ice in a warm environment and now 3 of those kids are in AP science studies.

The C.B.O. has reached an estimate of $71billion per year to provide a 4 year college degree for all American student per year other estimates have that amount much lower and only the G.O.P. are claiming that it is above it. And yes even some Democrats also believe the lies that free tuition would break the bank.
Well one plan that is being kicked around right now would be to add a minor tax to the Wall Street speculators better known as mass computer traders that make 10,000 per second. The plan is to add a $0.001 tax per trade. In estimates that tax would yield enough to pay for the degrees, books, food, board, and labs; and still have money to spare for campus health clinics and campus beautification.

I did a bit of research and some of the numbers I found said that for 2016 alone the federal government gave about $76billion in student aid not to include unpaid/ defaulted student loans. I then came across the F.S.A.( Federal Student Aid) report for fiscal year 2016 the amount of grants and all monies given outside of loans was $125.7billion.
Then add to that the all 50 states add another approximately $100billion on top of that already each year.
So if we even take the numbers as fluffed for public good and say real numbers are more like 60% of reported we still have $60 billion per year by states, and about $75.42 billion by the feds, and this is just in free money, not re payed at all, then add to that the estimated $197billion per year in student loans that are being defaulted on at a rate of no less than 50%, and the numbers do not lie.
WE don't need any new taxes to provide a free 4 year degree for every American that wants one, it will not break any budgets, and it would save money in the long run.
The added benefits would be that more Americans would be working in better jobs, more jobs would be returning to America, and the rules could be set to allow only legal US citizens to get the money.

      Bullshit.
This is just another "let the government provide it and we'll get the greedy rich fuckers to pay for it"

A college education needs to be earned, not given. The student needs to have some skin in the game. Otherwise, they'll perform and learn about like they did in High School, but without mom and dad making them do their homework every night.

      Shooter has an alternative.
A free college grant covering 4 years once the individual has completed a 4 year hitch in military service.

You are too ignorant to even see that currently we are already giving away enough money to educate every American 3 times and that money is being wasted on private for profit schools while most plans call for the funds to only be used at non profit and state run schools, too bad in your little pea brain helping people using the PEOPLES money(taxes) is a far worse idea than using the PEOPLES money to make the elites even richer by giving the oil industry alone more per year than it would cost to pay for college degrees in corporate welfare.

There is little relationship between the amount of money spent on schools and the results. The most obvious relationship is between the racial composition the student body, and objective measurements of achievements.

Some schools need more discipline. Students who violently resist being educated, and who violently interfere with the education of others should be permanently expelled. Unfortunately, public schools are under pressure to reduce the expulsion rate of low achievement, high crime minorities.

Those who oppose higher expulsion rates should spend a year or so as a substitute teacher in schools with high percentages of low achievement, high crime minorities.

Dog; can you explain the relationship between racial composition and achievement?
Specifically, Shooter wants to know how you identify different racial compositions.
