I have mixed feelings about the entire mess.
It is my belief a country should never allow
When a war is declared the winner of that war now owns the other country. their military to enter another country without a declaration of war.
When one country declares war on another country every single citizen of that country should be considered an enemy and destroyed on sight.
War should be much harder to be declared. The reason for one must be very carefully thought out and not taken lightly.

 

May be it is more simple and Trump needed his little victory. To show ppl that e is a leader and he is not pro Russian, lets wait and see what comes out, you guys just note that it is not we who started it.

I heard that some years before when Colln Powell said that Sadam has a mass destructiom weapon. You guys lied to all world. And now you lie again because it was terrorist armory that was hit by Syrian air force. According to the chemical weapons experts the sarin could not have come from a bomb hitting a supply..........read the guardian article above!

The sarin was delivered by Assad's planes which means the Russians either lied or were incompetent!

The America is the biggest warmongering country in the world throughout history, responsible for the most of the war crimes around the globe. Most of the America's past and present presidents have blood in their hands and all hides behind the hypocrisy of demon-cracy.

It is true, there is no greater menace than a pissed off 19 year old US Marine, and no worse feeling than discovering that a US Navy Seal has ill feelings towards you. But then, that just means our military is made up of some truly awesome bad dudes. Some questions for you;

How many wars has the US started?
Did we start WWI?
Did we start WWII?
Did we start Korea?
Did we start Viet Nam?
Did we declare war on Bin Laden, or did he declare war on us? And then act on it?

The US has always defended it's interests. We have not started world wars or murdered millions in the name of racial purity or coveted what other countries have. We have blundered at times and been sucked into wars we should have stayed out of. We have covertly overthrown governments for our own gain and we have indeed killed innocents.
But do not declare us "responsible for most of the war crimes around the globe" or that "we are a war mongering nation" unless you can back that up with some legitimate facts and logic.

And while you ponder that, keep in mind that when the shit hits the fan and some tsunami or hurricane or earth quake or volcano fucks up paradise, it is almost always the US military who are first on the scene with humanitarian aid. Free of charge.

We in the US have been too quick to go to war against any people who stood in our way. Manifest Destiny! God willed that the US expand as it wished and hell-fire to any who stand in our way (native Americans)! We also told those who wished to break off from the US we would kill them and continue to kill them until they changed their minds (Civil War). We looked at the French failure in indoChina and said shit we're better than any frog and we picked a fight in Vietnam. We also picked a fight in Korea -- because we had a massive military and nothing to do with it, it has been suggested. When we backed-off from battle (WWI and WWII) for a period we still made millions and billions supplying the forces at war. I would never argue that we, the citizens of the US, are more prone to battle than any other group but our history is really bloody and maybe too often we have been VERY aggressive!

Did you notice that the American continent was settled pretty much at the same time, but by different countries? It wasn't just the blood thirsty Americans, now was it?
The civil war? Lincoln said it better than Shooter can; "A house divided against itself cannot stand" When the Confederate states decided they didn't want to play anymore, there was no choice. The killing you should remember, was started by the Confederate states, not the northern states.
You should remember that when Kennedy sent advisors into Viet Nam it was in response to a call for help from South Viet Nam, not Kennedy's idea that he could "do better than the French." It wasn't the US picking the fight I Viet Nam, it was the North Vietnamese, backed by China and Russia, to conquer people who did not want to be conquered. Look, we have as a nation blundered from mess to mess in the middle east, but in the end there are no good answers in that cess pit; those people have been killing each other for stupid reasons since recorded history and will be long after you and Shooter are worm food. The one thing we should have learned a long time ago is, when the Department of State negotiators can't find a common ground to start from with our enemies, then it is time to send in the marines, and resume negotiations only after a marine boot is firmly planted on their necks.

America has had enemies from the time it was created. Some because of ideology differences, some from wanting what we have, some from imagined or real slights. The point though, is that we have enemies, and have to defend ourselves continually.
No apologies, if we are to survive as a nation, we have to be willing to send in the Marines when the politicians can't solve the problem, or fuck it up to begin with.

The people who massacred the Native Americans may have included people from around the world BUT it was the US Army that accomplished the majority of the killing and they were working for the US Gov't..

Vietnam and Korea were both going through the pains of civil wars (North against South). They asked for our assistance and we obliged knowing we would not win since we were planning on fighting limited wars! You win a war by killing your enemies and their in-country supporters. You don't win a war by killing your enemies if they are in selected areas.

Every bullet and every bomb, as well as the ships and planes to deliver same, we gave to our "allies" during WWI and WWII came with an invoice. It took Britain a long time but they paid back every penny.

I did not say we fought WWI and WWII to make money I said we made a profit off them.

I don't believe The US is more blood thirsty than other peoples. But our history does show us to be blood thirsty -- we have been at war MY ENTIRE LIFE and I'm pushing 80! Every American generation has fought and died somewhere in the world. In all but the rare exception we have fought in wars we did not want and did not start; we defended our interests and our freedom. The American Indian? Fine. At the time of European expansion into the Americas there were some 1 Million people living here. We did indeed push them onto reservations and slaughter a LOT of them. That, I am convinced, could not happen today, but it did then. A truly blood thirsty nation would not have put the Indians on reservations, it would have wiped them out completely. In the late 1700's and 1800's countries decided boundaries by force; he who could take and hold, took and held. That is not the America of today. We have conquered nations and held a lot of land in our battles, but we have always returned it when our goal was obtained and helped our former enemies rebuild their nations.

Shooter's ancestors came to America from Scotland in the late 1890's and settled first in Missouri, later expanding into the Rocky Mountains and the west coast. So far as Shooter knows, we never owned a slave, never killed anyone in the US. A Shooter has fought in WWI, WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, and in all of the Middle East fuck ups.

We have served proudly to defend America and what it stands for. When bullshit artists pick at our history and twist it to paint Americans as war mongers and baby killers, I recall all of the times America's military has been first on scene of a disaster somewhere in the world. That in any of our military posts overseas, the citizens of that country can get medical care and our service members often go into the villages and tribal areas offering free medical care and assistance.

America is not perfect; we have blundered into wars that could have probably been avoided, we have overthrown governments that are not our allies, or that harbor our enemies. We have interfered in foreign government elections and we have covertly killed foreign government officials. That is not our normal practice, it is not what we stand for, and it is not what we as citizens will tolerate. For what it's worth, other governments have done the same, done it more often, and been more aggressive in defending what they stand for.
