It is simply the lie of conservatism as it is preached and practiced in this nation. They never practice what they preach. The scream fiscal responsibility if the Democrats are in control but as soon as the conservatives are in control they double the national debt and do things like start two wars but keep the cost of those wars off the budget. Conservatives scream about an over bearing government limiting their personal freedoms. But c0nstantly advocate for telling a woman what she can and cannot do with her own body. They scream about the sanctity of the life of the unborn child but then constantly try to cut social safety net programs designed to feed poor children. As well as constantly advocate for the death penalty. They scream about activist judges and then try to appoint religious zealots judges to ram their religious beliefs down everyone else's throats. And conservatives claim to be the guardians of national security and national defense while now being perfectly willing to let Russia dictate to the US and corrupt our democracy.

But I will admit even though I have been fighting the lie of conservatism for more than 35 years I have never seen them become bigger hypocrites and liars in a shorter time than they have with Trump. They are bending over backwards to prostitute themselves and make excuses for all Trump's lies and failures while getting ready to explode the deficit and national debt to give more tax breaks to the wealthy at the expense of everyone else.

CRAWFORD, Texas (AP) — President Bush has turned his remote ranch into a stage for down-home diplomacy, where a barbecue grill and a pickup truck have become his favorite tools for dealing with world leaders.

The 1,600-acre property in central Texas is a place where aides say the president feels most comfortable and can spend more get-to-know-you time with his guests than in hurried Washington. On Thursday, Colombian President Alvaro Uribe will be the 14th foreign leader to visit the ranch.

Bush has used his private residence for entertaining heads of state in a manner unlike any other president in 40 years. The others have preferred to host their counterparts at the White House or the presidential retreat at Camp David.
