I understand that completely. I was telling the right wing section of the site, the blame falls squarely on their party, especially the extreme section of their party.

 

Actually it was a pretty good day.

A poor repeal bill was tabled, so Obamcare will have another year to hit rock bottom.

Trump was further vindicated for his comments about being wiretapped, as the evidence for it rapidly accumulates.

Also, the Keystone Pipeline and many other suspended fossil fuel projects moved forward. Bad day for Obama buddies at Berkshire-Hathaway, which was making billions moving oil by rail, but a very good day for energy independence and Americna workers.

Yes, on the whole not a bad day at all.

 

Obamacare is in a death spiral and nothing can change that. Obama knew his pet program was doomed long before he left office.

The cost of healthcare is out of control. The healthcare and pharmaceutical companies along with corporate interest have perpetrated the largest fleecing of this country in history.

Look for a big cover up while it all collapses like a giant ponzi scheme.

Obamacare will be replaced with something, it's just a matter of time....

 

When Obama care was first introduced, major think tanks declared it was the biggest power grab by GOVERNMENT over its citizens ever seen. They also said if it was passed, no party would ever replace it. Get used to being told what to do.

As usual Trump totally fucked up yesterday when in another example of delusion he tried to blame the Democrats for Trumpcare turning out to be an epic failure.

First, no one, not even Republicans, believed that delusion. Second, the Democrats were quick to point out that not once during the Trumpcare debate where they ever invited to give input or even contacted by anyone in the White House. And third, and more importantly they jumped on Trump's invitation to help fix the healthcare problems because they have several fixes that would easily fix the ACA including opening the door to a public option or even universal healthcare.

But worst of all Trump just really pissed off a majority of the country by threatening their healthcare when what they are demanding is to fix the ACA. And Trump managed to breath fire into that demand.

 

Trump fucked up YUGE by making this his first important vote and should have stuck to something that stood a snowballs chance in hell of passing as his "grand entrance" ...

This proves that not even his party likes him and it was basically a vote of non confidence.

When I post threads with the eventual outcome, which this is another one of, just take my word for it lol. So I am 2 for 2 so far lol.

This "tow the company line" bullshit that Trump tried backfired on him ... Nuclear option, my ass !!!

 

And another thing that is literally laughable are Trump's claim he didn't really want to try to repeal and replace the ACA first and he never said he would do it in his first 100 days.

So today those statements are being run side by side with all the times he said on the campaign trail he would repeal and replace the ACA "on day one in office." As well as all the more recent clips of him saying they had to repeal and replace the ACA first before they could move onto things like tax reform.

And once again Trump has made himself into another laughingstock and is being openly mocked for telling such stupid and easily provable lies.

You people still haven't learned that Government is the last place to go and save money and get good service.

 

And do you know what is so weird? Trump and the Republicans may already be moving the nation closer to a single payer system than President Obama and the Democrats ever could.

First because that is the only real solution because our current free market healthcare system is mathematically unsustainable. It is doomed to failure and the only question is when we finally recognize that reality.

But during the current debate for the first time I am seeing news outlets and lots of pundits actually discussing a single payer system. But instead of the usual right wing false propaganda they are pointing out that single payer universal healthcare systems work far better than our for profit healthcare system and we are the only developed nation that doesn't have single payer.

And when asked if a single payer system would work in the US people are pointing out single payer is already working in the US in programs like Medicare and the VA which are extremely popular. And even with problems caused by under funding the VA it still has overwhelming support from veterans.

But while only a few liberal/progressive/Democrats have the guts to be calling for a single payer system one of the things that is being pushed again by the Democrats is creating a public option or allowing people to buy into Medicare is an easy solution for every problem the Republicans are screaming about with the ACA.

Which is finally being listened to by the majority of Americans because Trump and the GOP just scared the fuck out of them.

 

GOP feels betrayed by White House: Trump’s ‘heart was not in the healthcare battle’

 

There are a couple things circulating right now. One that just cracks me up. And another that I think is true and people are tracing back.

The one cracking me up is Trump blaming Democrats for the failure of Trumpcare. Which across the internet is being picked up as true. Trump should have turned to Nancy Pelosi instead of Paul Ryan because Pelosi could have gotten it through. Noting when Pelosi was Speaker of the House she never failed once to get the President's policies approved.

But the more serious one is this. Lots of people pointing out it was nothing Trump and Ryan did or didn't do. Instead the reason Trumpcare went down in flames is because of the massive grassroots activism and protests flooding town hall meetings and flooding the phone lines on capitol hill that made the GOP chicken out.

And that was actually backed up today when Sen Lindsey Graham held a town hall meeting and ended up talking like a progressive/liberal/Democrat.

The resistance is working way better than shootersa's phony revolution.

 

Looks like President Dipshit will need to work with the Democrats. Extreme right wing has taken over the Republican party. Bye Republicans.

 

The real question being is there anything he could say or do to convince any member of the Democratic Party that they could trust him or even work with him.

 

Probably not. It would be funny though.

 

Yeah there is. Which is why the Democrats are setting him up for it while we speak.
