I like Dominic Purcell as an actor in this reboot and watched most of the original series. He reminds me of Clive Standen who plays in the new series "Taken" which is very well made.

The ratings for Prison Break Resurrection are off the charts with an 8.9/10 (19,732 votes) on IMDb.

I'm watching something on PBS about a German detective in Venice .

It is subtitles but it's kind of interesting

 

I'm watching a story about the Plank Road. It was a road crossing the sand dunes going to San
Diego from Yuma. It was built in the early 1900's with planks of wood over the sand, tied togethr with metal strapping. This was actually succesful and the state Hwy Commission took it over. They used it for about 10 years. Very interesting.

I couldn't get my equipment to the fields at times due to abundant rain and finally made a similar type of temporary roadway to combat that and it was so well received that I now sell the removable sections to logging and drilling operations that they use as breakup roads when spring thaw occurs and their projects are impassable. they store them when not needed during winter and reuse them each year. As they wear or degrade I sell them more and it is a wonderful sideline to my farming income, or lack thereof at times!

On the topic of impassable I am watching Ducks swim in my field today due to all the rain.

The film itself is just ok but Saoirse Ronan is in it and I find her to be an incredible actor and love all her performances. Hanna is still one of my favorites with her in it, plus she is really easy on the eyes lol. Brooklyn was her latest film but she has 6 more either in post or completed and awaiting release, she is one busy actor and her bank account must be overflowing ...

A rare, valuable Harry Potter prequel, handwritten by author J.K. Rowling on a postcard, was stolen during a British burglary, U.K. Reuters reports.

The 800-word story, which is set three years before Potter's birth, originally sold for 25,000 pounds ($32,152) at a 2008 charity auction. The item was stolen from a property in Birmingham between April 13th and 24th.

Local police issued a statement early Friday morning, seeking the keen eye of Potter fans who may stumble upon the item. "The only people who will buy this unique piece are true Harry Potter fans," investigating office PC Paul Jauncey said. "We are appealing to anyone who sees, or is offered this item for sale, to contact police."

Rowling retweeted the news report, adding, "Please don't buy this if you're offered it. Originally auctioned for @englishpen, the owner supported writers' freedoms by bidding for it."

The auction's proceeds benefitted two charitable organizations, English PEN and Dyslexia Action.

The untitled story, penned across both sides of an A5 postcard, features the character Sirius Black and Harry's father, James. It reportedly opens with the teenage Sirius and James cornered two by angry police officers after a high-speed motorcycle pursuit. The protagonists manage to escape using magic, and Rowling's final note reads, "From the prequel I am not working on – but that was fun!"

Rowling's cinematic Potter spin-off, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, premiered in November. The second installment of the planned five-part franchise – starring Jude Law Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore – will hit theaters on November 16th, 2018.
