just a question.. in all of my moderating, administrating dozens of forums including websites as well running many twitter, facebook pages and more. many of my friends and supporters, fans have said i do better job here they also have suggested that i should do one on a porn forum as seeing i also run porn tumblrs and my porn accounts on porn sites lol.

but i'm not sure if this would be better choice to apply for that position.. but i have seen lot of complaints about the trolls and problems that are present in the forum. i'd like to think that this forum would be more different and cleaner if trolls are removed from the forum. i actually have been keeping many trolls off my forums ever since i first learned how to make a forum many years ago with proboards. but i do think XNXX has need for better moderating and more stricter policy on trolls.

what do you think? could i do better job than ILMJ? i'd be interested to hear your opinions on this
(this is purely a debate about keeping forum safe and risk-free without problems)

 

If the trolls and socks get removed from this site, there will be a total of 4 members on this site...is that what you really want?

 

I'd be a little leery in making someone a moderator if that person seemed too anxious to become a moderator. Forums can be ruined by choosing a moderator who wants to clean the place up, whip things into shape and make the forum proper in their eyes.

I would rather there be too little moderation than too much moderation.

 

If trolling doesn't break the rules, then you should not be removing them. It would be nice to see the spam disappear faster.

 

This is a good point. The people who post here may dislike aspects of XNXX, but they keep posting because they like more than they dislike.

I would like to prohibit obscene words and flaming, and establish on XNXX a quiet, intellectual atmosphere where controversial issues were discussed with intelligence and erudition.

If I was the admin and tried to do that I would soon be talking to myself on an otherwise empty internet forum.

The fact that this question is even publically asked says a lot in and of itself. What it is saying being directly contrary to what the OP is proposing.

This is not a debate solely on forum politics. Any member putting themselves forward need to be looked at. I think you have too much of an agenda to be a fair moderator or administrator.

Trolling is within the rules on this site. We are mostly free to post whatever opinions we have. Good, bad or indifferent. Would you be proposing to limit members free speech further?

It seems you juse want to create a safe space for easily offended snowflakes.

 

No, i want to create a place that porn forum members can have discussions without being trolled or attacked by a troll or a sock, ruining their time here. That can be difficult to get without moderator presence here.. this place used to be very active with less trouble back then as i have heard... that is my question to the issue here.

 

If you get rid of all of the socks and trolls you will have a forum with 2 members.
Then all of their time will be spent patting each other on the back or they will be banned.

Less trouble back then! Thats funny!! Whoever told you that obviously hasn't been around here that long. In the 8 or 9 years I've been around its always been rife with sock puppetry, trolls and silverbacks. It's no worse now far from it. These types of people are a fact of life. Get used to it.

And just what is considered trolling?. The troll card is played a lot here. Even simply disagreeing with somebody can get you labelled a troll. Secondly, and more importantly who gets to decide?

 

I would be curious to see what sites you moderated since a while back you made a thread looking for a good forum similar to this one ??? IF you actually have any experience on any forums, they are not porn related except maybe PlanetSuzy which you already have a distaste for.

Btw, the one that I do limited moderation on got rid of you as a member a long time ago thanks to a certain someone LOL.

And posting anime's does not a website builder make ...
