  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

Well when I saw World War II, I thought "Oh boy, another story about killing Nazis" hehe just kidding, you wrote a fabulous story and since WWII is one of my favorite subjects, I have read a lot about it and can I say just once more: "Outstanding work and don't listen to that unknown comments on the main story site."

You have actually given me an idea, something to work on when I'm not writing on my serieses (I hope that is how you spell it). It will be an alternate history of course, but one with a definite twist.

Oh and the way you made Germany a superpower years before it actually did return to that state? Stroke of genius. Love it :) Ok enough of my psycho babble.

    Thank you.

The Winter War demanded to be told once I began to delve more into the history and the conflict. Some stories are written, this one called out and kind of wrote itself; a rarity among my tales, one that just declared 'HERE!'

Suggestion - finish your series first so you can devote the time to the new alternate history. Also, don't forget to have some fun now and then, just as I did with having the old German Adolph go BOOM!

When you find the point of change in which your story will divert from historical accuracy, plot the changes and consequences out to three and four steps; at the least you will have a grasp of 'this occurred so this follows' and not be blindsided by a sudden 'oops' that may come up.

On the matter of German being a super-power, remember that a lot of the strength of a rearmed Germany was based on the perception of strength, in many ways France and even Russia held more advanced tanks, planes, and artillery than Germany.

In many ways the Winter War demonstrated what a determined, skilled and properly equipped and competently led small army can achieve even while vastly outnumbered. If Stalin had not resorted to the old maxim of quantity of numbers has a quality of its own, the Finnish forces had a fair chance of winning out.

In the case of Germany for my story I based it on one concept I have explained to other historians about the 'impossible' occurring.

Twice the Allied forces assured everyone that the Ardenne's could never be used by armor and mechanized forces, in 1940 and 1944 they forgot to tell the Germans that, and the allies learned the lesson the hard way.

    Good fortune with your idea.
