So she is either just as fucking nuts as you or to stupid to notice or care. What strikes me even more is what the fuck is wrong with you that you can't get a date in your own city. If I met someone on X, or any other forum, and actually had a chance to meet them face to face, I certainly wouldn't put it up for public discussion, where she could see it.

 

With tommo I told a close friend who and where I was meeting, gave them his name rank and regiment and car reg and gave her a code word and if I wasn't heard from by a certain time or failed to give the right info to let her know it was me then all his info would have been given to the police. So if he did kill me atleast he would have been caught and my body stood a better chance of recovery

 

The only blind date/personal ad/whatever you want to call it, was before the days if internet dating. I answered a personal ad in the local paper. There is an advantage to being a writer, when you have to respond with a letter. She called me at work on Friday and we made a date for her day off, the next week. It was going to be a double date, with a married couple who were friends. This was all the standard precautions of the day.

On Sunday, I called and asked if she would like to meet for coffee. This blew all the precautions out of the water. We had coffee, we had lunch, and I was a little late for work on Monday. That was some 27 years ago, and I haven't killed her yet.

 

There are a couple of people here that I would enjoy meeting in real life, even in a non sexual context, at least at first.
I don't think that I would discuss it here until we both were comfortable with it but that's just me.

Hmmm. Just be sure you are both really on the same page. I have met some one from the site. I had been chatting and facetiming for I think about 5-6 months before I decided to do it. I don't regret it in some ways and in some other ways I do. Definitely bring condoms! If you don't want children seriously protect yourself, you will save yourself a headache and a heartache! You only live once, if you want to do it and you trust the person just go for it. I have some really great memories with the person I met up with.

 

Never met anyone in here but I am talking to someone as friends for now , we like each other but we both know that distance is a big issue right now ( she lives in South Korea ) . We would love to meet . Could it happen ? Of course it could but for now we are friends and talking via text / video chat .
