For those of you ignorant people who believe God never intended on people having sex with their families, who were the first people to be on earth? Adam and Eve, they had children, and their children had children, now how does that happen without incest becoming a factor? I've never been a part of it, but I believe it's in no way wrong unless one of the people involved is unwilling. I'm not trying to "bash" anyone, and everyone has their own views even if they are wrong. Just think about it!

 

I didn't mean to offend any of you with the "ignorant people" part of my post, I was just trying to get my point across.

 

I have no problems with what consenting adults do with each other on matter who they are or how they are related. That is just none of my business. I do object when children are involved with manipulative adults, no matter how they are related.

 

Interesting that you're using the Bible to defend/support incest. Do you also support the stoning of adulterers and homosexuals? Do you wear only pure and unblended cloths? And how many goats is a daughter worth these days?

There is an old saying that goes "Even the Devil Can Quote Scripture".
I think of that everytime I hear some racist quote the Bible to justify their beliefs.

 

Of course, if you presuppose that homo sapiens evolved gradually, the incest problem doesn't arise.

But even if you buy into the biblical version, you can't blame those poor ignorant children for fucking their brains out. They had no spiritual guidance.

Incestuous persons are being treated like second class citizens and need to group together to earn their right to be the motherfuckers they truly are (and who can deny someone the right to be their 'true' self, after all?). I'm sure the other supressed groups (i.e., the goat molestors, the kid pokers, the corpse humpers, etc.) will take heart at the epic struggle of incest heroes!! You go, girl! I believe it has become viewed as wrong because of all of the genetic defects you can have by producing a baby through incest. I personally would rather gag myself with a spoon before I had sex with my brother, but that is just me. I have to be sexually attracted to the person, but to each his own.
I do however think it is the genetics and the possibilities of incest the turn people away from it.

Yes, the bible says that Adam and Eve were the first people one earth, but nowhere does it say that they were the only ones. One can assume that there were other people on earth after Adam and Eve and therefore Adam and Eve's sons did not commit incest. Maybe you should read the bible before you make such statements.

 

Exactly. When Adam and Eve were cast out of Eden, as far as I can recall there were already other people there.

 

It doesn't say for sure, but it says that Cain got himself a wife after he was sent away because he killed Able, so obviously there were other people then.

 

I don't exactly believe in any "god", or Adam and Eve for that matter, so how about we do not interbreed because of the genetics of it and all the biological problems that can occur. Besides, people nowadays like incest because it turns them on, considering the circumstance of Adam, Eve, and their children, they reproduced because there was nobody else to do that with.

Human beings are the only species that contemplate the relationship of whom they have sexual relations with. Nature is indescriminate. There's a reason we start puberty at 10, 11, 12... not 18 as the law-makers have hammered down to us. 100 years ago, 13 & 14 y/o girls were breeding and becoming housewives. In many cultures around the world TODAY, young marriages and incestual practices are normal and encouraged.

As a member stated earlier in this thread, the fears of the genetic defects have done much for banning inter-family relations. Scientifically speaking, fucking family is no different than fucking strangers... when you're gene-deficient, you're gene-deficient... I don't care if I call you "mom", "sis", or "hey pretty lady can I get your name & number"...

Maybe I spoke too generalized.. I meant there are still certain sects within cultures that practice it... sects within Japan, India, Indigenous Africa, and New Zealand. Some folks in New Zealand even tried to get incest legalized, but the judges determined that legalizing it would condone pedophilia so they didn't even entertain conversation about it.
