Dude, you might want to to see if raw sewage has any articles that don't include such blatantly false claims that are easily picked apart.

Yep, "narrowly focused" on "quid pro quo", before focus grouping "bribery" (Yeah, cuz "quid pro quo" was too difficult for our constituents), then focusing ("narrowly", of course) on extortion. And that laser focus settled on "abuse of power".

Poll: Trump More Popular than Nancy Pelosi and the “Squad”

    Posted by Fuzzy Slippers
Pelosi’s favorability is just 28%, and the AOC plus three Squad is viewed equally poorly. By contrast, Trump’s job approval is at 45%

Congress has long had an abysmal approval rating, and that has long included House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). We’ve written here at LI about the poor approval rating carried by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). In March, Kemberlee blogged that even in New York, President Trump’s approval rating is higher than Ocasio-Cortez’s.

It’s little wonder that President Trump wants the AOC plus three “Squad” to be the face of the Democrat party.

A recent poll released by Emerson reveals that Trump is viewed far more favorably than are Pelosi or the “Squad.”

Pelosi’s favorability is just 28%, and the AOC plus three Squad is viewed equally poorly. By contrast, Trump’s job approval is at 45%.

The Democratic House leadership is struggling with favorability among voters; Speaker Nancy Pelosi has a 28% favorable opinion and a 46% unfavorable opinion. The House “squad,” consisting of Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Illan Omar and Ayanna Pressley share this image problem. Ocasio-Cortez is at 30% favorable and 47% unfavorable, Tlaib is at 26% favorable and 42% unfavorable, Omar is at 25% favorable and 46% unfavorable, and Pressley is at 24% favorable and 35% unfavorable.

. . . . President Trump’s job approval improved slightly from early this month and is now at 45% approval and 46% disapproval. His support within the Republican party continues to be strong as Trump dominates a potential primary against former Massachusetts Governor Bill Weld 91% to 8%. The Republican primary poll was n=467 with a +/-4.5%.

It’s interesting to note, too, how low their numbers are among Democrats. By contrast, Trump’s favorability among Republicans has been and continues to be remarkably strong.

A new national survey from Emerson measured the favorability ratings of all five women engaged in that (currently paused) brawl, and found public perceptions of each of them deep underwater. Here are the fresh numbers for the Speaker of the House, followed by the four lightning rod Congressional freshmen.

. . . . Pelosi pulls a net (-18), AOC is at (-17), and Omar is at (-21). The more junior Squadsters are less known, but remain upside-down by double digits. Interestingly, Ocasio-Cortez registers the highest favorable rating at just 30 percent, with all of the other named Democrats mired in the 20’s. Among only Democratic voters, Pelosi’s favorability is just about on par with the Squad’s, though AOC (+37) beats the Speaker (+33) head-to-head on this measure.

. . . . As for President Trump, his job approval rating sits nearly perfectly even (45/46) in this Emerson poll.

Trump has correctly (and effectively) tried to make the Squad the face of the Democrat party, and it’s a good move. Internal Democrat polling shows that they are absolutely toxic in purple states and swing districts.

According to internal Democratic polling, “The Squad” is beyond toxic for the Democrats in the 2020 swing states. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may be popular among the Democratic base, but her favorability among voters the Democrats need in the states that matter is hovering around 22 percent. Further, only 9 percent of swing voters polled have a favorable view of Rep. Ilhan Omar, while socialism clocked-in at a not-exactly awe-inspiring 18 percent.

Public polling from CBS News further confirms that many Americans view the squad unfavorably and that Trump has room to make them even more disliked among the electorate due to their currently limited name ID.

Additionally, whomever the eventual Democrat nominee will be, he or she will seek the endorsement of the Squad, as we’ve already seen with Sens. Warren (D-MA) and Sanders (I-VT) vying for AOC’s nod. This will only help Trump tie his Democrat opponent to the four hugely unpopular radical extremists.

Further, try as he or she might to resist, the eventual Democratic nominee will not only have to kiss the proverbial ring of “The Squad,” but the nominee will also likely have to bestow coveted speaking slots to the progressive quadruplets at the 2020 Democratic convention in Milwaukee to solidify their own base, thereby inextricably linking the two together for Trump.

You can almost hear Trump’s 2020 campaign team giggling.

And Trump's approval rating has went up while Pelosi's rating has went down.

Are you trying to lie and say Pelosi's approval rating is better than Trump's?

Mitch McConnell Flattens Pelosi: You Keep Holding on to Impeachment Papers and I’ll Keep Confirming Judges
Posted at 2:30 pm on December 23, 2019 by Sister Toldjah

As I wrote earlier this month, Sen. Majority Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is not messing around when it comes to judicial confirmations.

To date, the McConnell-led Senate has confirmed 174 judges out of the 234 nominated by President Trump, some of who were confirmed as Trump’s impeachment was being voted on in the House.

It’s an impressive record so far, and in an interview McConnell did on Fox and Friends this morning, he said important Senate business will continue to be conducted no matter how long House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) decided to hold on to the articles of impeachment.

The interview started off with host Brian Kilmeade noting Pelosi had yet to hand over the articles of impeachment. To that, McConnell responded by suggesting that Pelosi apparently wants the Senate to play by her rules, which he chuckled over.

“You know, I’m not anxious to have this trial so if she wants to hold on to the papers that’s – go right ahead,” he said with a smile to the Fox News co-hosts.

He noted several times that all he’s asked of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is that the Senate’s impeachment trial be held like the trial was for President Clinton during his impeachment. Those rules, McConnell pointed out, were voted on 100-0 at the time including by Sen. Schumer himself. McConnell made clear throughout the interview that Pelosi was not running the show in the Senate and would not be the one determining the rules.

When McConnell was asked about Republican Senators from purple states, he stated he had talked to some members who do see their role as a juror while others felt more free to openly express their opposition to what was going on. But at the end of the day, he noted, they were still able to continue to conduct business in the Senate even in the midst of the impeachment drama, touting his judicial confirmation record.

“We’ve [confirmed] 50 circuit court judges. Barack Obama did 55 in 8 years, we’ve done 50 in 3 years.” He went on to tell the hosts that the judges they have confirmed will “transform the courts.” 1 out of every 4 circuit court judges is a Trump appointee who believes in the Constitution and will follow the law, stated McConnell.

Of judicial appointments, McConnell said he and Trump think they are the “longest lasting contribution this administration and this Republican Senate will make to the country.”

    Watch the full interview below:

One final note: McConnell still refuses to play the “I won’t be an impartial juror” game:

“Do you think Chuck Schumer is impartial? Do you think Elizabeth Warren is impartial? Bernie Sanders is impartial? So let’s quit the charade. This is a political exercise. … All I’m asking of Schumer is that we treat Trump the same way we treated [President] Clinton,” McConnell said.

And if not, he’ll just keep on keepin’ on … confirming Trump’s judicial nominees.

Former Democratic New York Assemblyman Rips Bill De Blasio Over His Attempt to Blame Trump for the Big Apple’s Anti-Semitic Violence
Posted at 4:45 pm on December 30, 2019 by Alex Parker

On Monday, Dov Hikind guested on Fox & Friends to discuss New York Mayor Bill de Blasio’s blaming of Trump for recent anti-Semitic attacks in the Big Apple.

As reported by The Daily Wire, the former state assemblyman insisted, “All of these communities: They love the President. They are his greatest supporters.”

I must admit: I’ve recently marveled at some on the Left’s attempt to brand POTUS as anti-Semitic.

A look across the political spectrum — which includes our extremely pro-Israel President — doesn’t rightly connect that malady with the GOP.

As for de Blasio, here’s what he offered in a recent interview with Fox:

“An atmosphere of hate has been developing in this country over the last few years. A lot of it is emanating from Washington and it’s having an effect on all of us.”

If there’s an anti-Semitic message coming from D.C., is it emanating from the White House?

    Bill says Yes.

But — it’s not “just” Trump:

“Not just the President, I’m saying, but we have to be clear: We need a different tone starting in Washington; we had, by the way, with Democrats and Republicans both in the White House, that encourage this country to actually find some unity and some common ground. We haven’t had that the last few years.”

It strikes me as more than a bit lame for the leader of a city to respond to crime and/or attitudes of prejudice in his city by blaming the opposing party’s national leader.

As it turns out, it hits Dov the same way:

“First off, it’s an excuse. It’s childish. Being in elementary school or kindergarten, you’d blame someone else. He’s the mayor of the city of New York. He is in charge. And isn’t it fascinating that all of these communities that have been victimized by anti-Semitism — unprecedented anti-Semitism — in New York, in neighboring New Jersey now, in Monsey, all of these communities: They love the President. They are his greatest supporters.”

And not only that, but — according to Dov — Trump’s got their support across party lines:

“And by the way, most of them are Democrats. They love the President. So you have these ‘experts,’ like the mayor of New York and the governor — they’re the ‘experts’ — that it is Washington, it is the President that is responsible.”

Mr. Hikind pointed the finger squarely at de Blasio:

“It is just not true, and it is an excuse. You’re the mayor; you’re responsible. Do your job, which you have not done up until now. Don’t look for excuses. Don’t blame the President. And as I said: Borough Park; Williamsburg; Crown Heights; Monsey: They love —The president’s approval rating in those communities is above 90%. So how dare the mayor insinuate what he’s insinuating.”

Fox host Pete Hegseth made a pointed comment:

“So when those communities, those Jewish communities look at the hate that they’re facing, they’re not looking at right-wing hate or views; they’re looking at something quite different.”

Dov said the idea that it’s conservative is absurd:

“It’s not right-wing, period, unless you’re blind, unless you want to fool yourself. If you look at those who have perpetrated the hate, we know who they are. Video surveillance — we see who they are: They’re not white people. They’re not alternate-right. Most of them are minorities, so stop. How do you solve a problem if you refuse to acknowledge and deal with the problem? And that’s exactly what the mayor is doing.

Bill might be a nice guy, but to Dov, he’s immersed in pitiful politics rather than a willingness to offer real-world solutions:

“The mayor’s a nice guy. He cares about anti-Semitism, but he hasn’t done very much to deal with the problem. And blaming the President? That’s playing to the base. That’s not being honest; that’s being dishonest. But he’s more interested in the politics than he is in dealing with the hate. No American — no New Yorker — should be afraid to walk the streets. No parent should be afraid to let their kids out in the street. This is America.”

    Wow. Powerful words.

And here’s the most powerful of all: Dov Hikind…is a Democrat.

How do we find more leaders who are willing to address America’s problems in lieu of scoring partisan points? As Bill de Blasio — not to mention impeachment — is reminding us, we’re in desperate need.

    -ALEX

And this is working. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi knows how mentally ill Trump is and is in the process of showing that to the rest of the nation. And all we have to do is take one look at the mad king dictator's twitter meltdowns to know her plan is working better than she hoped. Trump is cracking under the pressure already.

Here’s how Nancy Pelosi can psychologically wreck Trump by stalling impeachment for 36 days

*Bill Clinton had not problem at all delivering the SOTU while he was being impeached. But Clinton was a great president and not mentally ill.

**As it stands right now unless Moscow Mitch folds and agrees to allow witnesses I don't think there is anyway Pelosi will forward the articles of impeachment to the Senate before February 4th. Why would she? Every day more and more damning evidence is coming out. And Trump is already going; crazier than a shit house rat and impeaching himself.

But now that we have a literally and clinically mentally ill president Congress needs to protect us and the world from him.
