Also to those who want to cry out about free speech. Free speech does not exist on internet forums nor do laws governing free speech apply. When you agree to sign up to any forum site, you agree to allow you comments and posts to become controled by the mods and admins of that forum. So thus you surrender your rights regarding free speech regarding your post on that forum by agreeing to their user agreement. Therefore anything that mods or admins wish to have removed are within their rights to do so.
There is no legal basis that a person can use to force a forum admin or mod to restore or not remove posts, threads, or members. So claiming free speech is great but does not apply in this situation. Once you agree to be a member of this or any forum, you agree to allow those woho run in to have the final say in what you can and can not say.
Also since this thread has more of a general discussion feel to it, maybe it should be moved to that section.

because the person who was underage could have taken the picture, which we could then conclude that the girls in those pictures probably where/could be underage... the forum could probably be shut down for that.

 

Free speech is all well and good, but you can not expect someone to break or appear to break the law on your behalf.

It would be fairly easy to drop a few real underage girls into this topic. There is no real way that age can be certified on a forum like this, but this topic is way too close to the edge.

I am not sure where the owners and moderators of this site would stand legally and I am sure that would also vary by state and country.

Free speech is important, but not when it intends to deprive others of their freedoms. Sex with minors does deprive children the right to grow up and develop normal relationships.

In my opinion any reference to underage sex including "looking underage" is inappropriate. I am particuarly disgusted with all the underage fiction being written here.

But I wouldn't stop anyone. LE would stop it if they deem it inappropriate. I prefer to look at adults and think about sex with adults and have (albeit immature) adult relationships.

 

If we Moderators had to spend our time - and it is our time as we don't get paid for it - explaining every decision we make, then we wouldn't have time to do the job!
However, we do tend to get slightly peeved when the question of "censorship" is raised, so I will take the time to explain the moderation process in this instance.

This was the opening post by TCT in the "complaining thread" to which you refer:

Yes there are posters that lie to get on the site. Will hit on the women on this site and then reveal their ages. I had one do that to me once. I think what the motitors did was right and they do this of their own free will and I am glad they do this for us.

A last word from me. I must confess that when I originally posted this thread I was pissed-off at the perceived censorship and reacted reflexively. When the various comments began appearing I realised that I had mis-judged the situation, a fact that I acknowledged, refering to Bevionn's post. Now, with Moderator Chunky setting out a very detailed explanation (thank you Chunky), I know I jumped in too quickly. However I believe some good has come out of it in that we, all of us, now have a better appreciation of why it is sometimes necessary to close-down a thread.
The underage thing is something of a minefield, unless you have age verification it must be better to err on the side of caution. I should have made the connection because, quite co-incidentally, I have recently been fucking a very sweet twenty-two-year-old (age verified!) who looks about fourteen. She makes sure always to have ID with her because she is constantly being challenged on her age. When she's forty and looks about twenty she'll be very happy, but right now its a pain.
