    POTUS and now a few members of Congress are making noise about sending in armed miliatry to put down these riots...

    While I agree a stronger use of force is required I, in no, way think having the 101st Airborne or 1st Marine Recon, armed, walking the streets of ANY AMERICAN CITY. This ain't the Middle East.

    Plus there's that little thing call The Posse Comitatus act of 1878 which prohibits the use of the armed forces enforcing civilian law. Unless authorized by and act of Congress. There's no way thats gonna happen unless the pictures start showing NAZI flags or dumbshits in white hoods burning crap down. And so far I have yet to see any of that. Of course we all know it is in fact White Nationalist's that are doing all this.

    Cops need to state start doing their job.... Or The People will... That usually end rather poorly....

    It is illegal to deploy the military within the borders of the United States, with a few exceptions. And most of them require a request from the governor's of the state where they are to be deployed.

    Also, said he would deploy the national guard... Only trouble is the national guard are state level groups which are controlled by their respective governors.

      GCA of 1934 set the price at $200 been that amount ever since. I don't think an AR can be converted without some significant machine work to the lower. However, there are plans for full Auto Sears that can be used in Glock pistols. Time effort good hand tools and a nice dial caliper and you'd be set

    The assumption seems to be that shoot to kill is the only alternative.

    It isn't.

    The police, perhaps with the national guard, would have the manpower and technique needed to grab any looters.

    If the demonstrators are truly protesting racism and police brutality, they would happily point out any in their crowd who are doing other than demonstrations.
