I have to agree with your description Piggit, I've felt that way many a time, it's just a damned pity that for me those good feelings didn't last.

I wouldn't avoid the journey either SS - and I too always know where it's going to finish... but I can't help but wonder how many times I contributed to it finishing prematurely.... ah... the wonders of hindsight!

After reading the replies I still have my doubts as to whether or not I've actually been in love properly or not. I think that I might have been close on more than one occassion, but as SS says, something always goes wrong and it ends up in the shit.

 

Tax - If you've hurt or ached for a girl/guy that has left you, or vice versa, then you've more than likely experienced love. It exists on many levels.

I have been in love. It is one of the best feelings in the world. Its when you would walk through hell to help them. You would do anything for them.
