Last time I fell in love (when grass was new) I created a CD to give to the other person to try and show her what she meant to me....

Some pretty old songs there I know, but it was a fairly long time ago, and yes, before you say anything about the selection, I was young OK???? LOL

In my heart all of those songs meant something to me, just a shame that she didn't react the way I expected... she dumped me about 3 weeks later!

Oh well!

i just put a few songs on her mp3 player so she don't feel too alone

 

It wasn't a tape or CD, but I once called my mother, and made her listen to Stevie Wonder's, 'I just called to say I Love You' She thanked me afterwards, Then yelled at me for running our long distance bill up, She was in Florida at the time, I was back here in Indiana.

I think I was between 13 and 15 when that song came out, so long distance didn't cost that much, now a days she would def. kill me.

 

To be fair buddy, you missed off "Ace of Spades" by Iron Maiden - that probably killed it.

Err... no. I didn't miss it Igor.. I don't listen to heavy metal, grunge, indy, garage and a whole bunch of other styles of music.

My preference lies in the late 60's, 70's, 80's and very early 90's - there's been a few tracks that I've liked from 91 onwards, but not enough to be able to count them on both hands.

 

Here is a partial list of songs that say "I Love You" to me. Yes, some of them are a bit quirky to some.... but to me, they mean a lot.

As you might be able to tell, my taste in music runs about the same as yours does as far as years go. I prefer mostly late 60's through early 90's.

:rose::rose:When i have the blues, i have an assortment of cd's that i made for those momemts and as Uk-Tax-Man, i too love the songs mostly from the 70's to 90's with alot of country love songs. My favorite is "Remember me " by Alabama.:rose::rose:

I never did the "I love you" cd, but I did a cd for my exwife right after we split. It was mostly punk songs (she hates punk music, I love it) about being crazy.
