We've had low unemployment (as low as---or lower than---during the Slick Willie years) and an economy that---until recently, at least---has been skipping along very well.
(This latest dip is expected. The economy goes in cycles naturally, you know.)

Even if everything you've worked for is still being "pissed away" it is being "pissed away" by a government that is still too fuckin' large.
Handing the reigns over to a socialist will only make government grow bigger and bigger and will cause the "piss stream" to get larger and larger.

Clinton created millions of jobs and left the country with a budget surplus after Reagan and GH Bush had plunged us into debt. Now after seven years of GW Bush we are in a recession. The stock market is crashing, the housing industry and bankers are being bailed out by our government and you pretend the Republicans are doing a good job. I honestly feel you're the only one fool enough to even claim they believe that.

 

I've been here, watching our government sending good paying jobs overseas, with free trade agreements. The low unemployment you speak of, are jobs people who lost those good paying jobs taking ones of the service industry type. Because they have no choice other than to take them to provide some sort of income for thier families. In the mean time loosing thier houses, not being able to pay the mortgages on lower wages. And speaking of the economy on a high. The DOW is where it is because of the free trade agreements and lowering wages to overseas workers. That always makes the bottom line look great.

Come back later when real life has been put on your spoon instead of the shit the governments been feeding you.

My point was---and still remains---that even though the Republican party isn't perfect it is a hell of a lot better than the alternative.
You won't find the "best person to right this country" in the modern day Democrat party. Ever since the 60's that once great party has really gone to hell. Most of the halfway decent Democrats have either left or have been forced out of the party. The nut cases run the show there now.
