Why is it so accepted when a teen boy has sex with and mature woman, and not the other way around, a teen girl with an mature man??

 

Very good question, I think it would depend more on how much of a teen you actually mean.But I guess that's just mindset of people, personally there should be no difference

IMHO, the reason it’s OK for the teen boy to have sex with a mature female, but not for the mature male to have sex with a teen female is because society believes that the male is the instigator/aggressor in the sexual conduct, so if a young man can convince an older woman to have sex, so be it, but if an older man convinces a younger girl, then he is forcing her, and it’s “wrong”... Granted, I know of as many situations where the female is the initiator, but the male is still blamed for it.

It happens often, in fact my neighbor got his 19 year old stepdaughter pregnant. He is 55 and the girl plans on having the baby. Of course the guy's wife is divorcing him.

 

Too bad she is divorcing him. They could have a beautiful family. A friend of mine got his sister in law pregnant and everyone stayed married and friendly.

 

I agree. If she is attracted to an older man or even her daddy it should be her choice. My stepmom was my first and I have never regretted it.

It is one of the famous double standards on the stereotyping of men and women. Just like in the situation being discussed, there is a double standard about the number of partners a woman haves compared to a man. I know a young lady who has only been with 5 guys, she was married to 3 of them, and has 3 kids, one from each marriage, yet she is looked down upon in our community because she has 3 different "baby daddies". Yet a guy can spread his seed and get 6 or 7 women pregnant and he considered a stud. Men and women are sexually equal, just because a woman likes sex does not make her a whore. I got off topic a little, I apologize.

 

I live in a small judgemental town and hate having to hide my relationship with my fwb. I think its bc people just seem to want to believe women, especially younger ones are victims.
