lol I don't really need to worry about it. Of course there are people that like to act tough and talk shit, but they usually back down because they are afraid. The few fights i have been in however didn't last very long lol

 

I have been hit by a couple of guys, and hit by one girl but never really been in a proper fight. I have hit two guys, both of them deserved it, only one of them hit me back.

two fights for me, both in self defence. One put me in hospital for a week whilst they put a 6" plate and 9 screws in my ankle. Good food though and a couple of sexy nurses

 

I had a few 'scraps' in school but have only ever had two serious fights:

One was with a school bully who liked to pick on kids - with his coterie of like-minded cronies - who they thought were weak. I'm a pacifist by nature and generally try to use my intelligence to avoid confrontation, but this one day this guy embarrassed me. That got my blood up (I hate being made a fool of!) so I stood up to him. I hit him three times... and he went down three times! The third time I split his eyebrow open and he had to go to hospital to have stiches put in the wound. I wonder if he still has the scar some thirty-odd years later...? The upside of that fight was that nobody ever picked on me again...

The only other real fight I was involved in was when Ii was in a home for boys. I was maybe fourteen at the time. This lad arrived after I'd been there a year or so. He had a reputation of being a bit of a 'hard case'. We didn't get on from day one! After some months of being antagonised by him, things came to a head one afternoon (I always rememebr it being very hot that day...) and we got involved in an all-out puching and kicking match. It seemed like it went on for ages but was probably less than five minutes. Nobody 'won', but we did establish a sort of 'mutual respect' for one another afterwards...

 

I had 5 older brothers, lots of fights there. Also we grewup in a most black poor neighborhood and we are white. My first fight in the hood I ran home crying, when I got there my Brothers told me get get out there a kick that kids ass and if I didn't they would kick my ass worst then he ever would. Needless to say I did what I had to. Fighting was very much a part of the times I grewup in. In about 1968 Black Power became a part of the world I lived in, even black friends I had turned against me. I had more fights in my life then I care to remember, I had my ass kicked alot and manage to win a few...if you call fighting winning.

 

Not many anyway, people trying to settle disagreements with their fists are just simple minded minions

Wow, I've been in a ton of fights. First off, I have been boxing for about 6 years now so it comes with the territory.

 

What a strange post. I don't see the point other then a moral issue.
I have been in combat and fought for my life many times.
I have fought with my son when he wanted to establish his manhood
I have fought for women who were being abused.
I have fought for men who were outnumbered.
I have fought in out of control bar brawls over the most important issues.
I am not sure that anyone cared or cut notches on their knuckles.

hmm, saved a little girl froming being crushed at a concert once, knocked out my drunk buddy at a party, and soon hopefully i'll crack the skull of a guy who is harassing a good friend (and crush) because she broke up with him.

I know how to take a person down in seconds. My brother is a prison guard, so he taught me alot of the self defense tactics they use. However, I have not had a situation desperate enough for a fight since I was about 7 years old.

 

To many.

 

Quite a few, from elementary school, to a couple in high school.
A couple of fights, earned respect. Mostly just standing up to them.
Defensive, by and large. No one was seriously hurt. Three defences against muggers/thugs.
I have learned how to maim and kill, trained by those that took it(martial arts, servicemen, vets, others).
I have never had to use any of these things, thankfully.
At my age, 40+ its stupid, we more break than bend, regardless of our size.
Verbal jujitsu works well.
On a few occasions over the last few years, in a bar or outside, there's been a few close calls.
