  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    Sorry, I don't think that's Rick Hendrick's style... I just think that's a little too far out...

Don't forget Jeff is partner in Jimmy's car, so...?
LOL I know, but it's just fun to throw things out there like that. It's obvious he was only seeing red and went after Clint. Damn the torpedoes, FULL SPEED AHEAD!

NASCAR has two champions so far this week-end... Yes, I'm that hooked that I watch it all if I'm home... Buescher secured the championship in the truck series, and Stenhouse did it in the Nationwide series... I was pulling for Sadler but he hit the wall last week-end in Phoenix... Looking forward to the race tomorrow... Right now, Keselowski is ahead of JJ by 20 points...

Brad Keselowski is going to be the Sprint Cup Champion... Johnson is in the garage and out of the race... I don't care too much for Keselowski, but it's good for the sport to have a new champ....

I love it for Roger Penske, his open wheel car have been very successful in Indycar racing for years, he finally made it in NASCAR.

A couple of years ago I had the pleasure of getting a personal guided tour of the Penske Racing facility in NC. It was awesome, I have never seen a more professional, beautifully run shop before or after. Absolutely pristine, incredibly well equipped and staffed by teams of technicians that looked like they were working in a world class hospital.

Congrats Captain, and by the way, congrats Brad.

One last thought of the season, it was good to see the 24 & 15 finish the race 1 & 2 without tearing up the sheet metal.

I didn't see it but I heard about it. Some of those were brand-new cars! Thanks for the video.

ejls, every one of them was brand new, it's the new generation cup car, everyone has to run them this year. That's what caused the problem, in the past, a driver could bump draft another car, making two of them faster than a single car. Because the front of Little Dale's Chevy was lower than the rear of Ambrose's Ford, he tried to bump and wound up "fork lifting" him.

Guess that's going to cut down on the rubbing this year.

It will cut down on the two car drafts, which were as exciting as watching paint dry.

This fan doesn't want to see crashes, but he does want to see drivers actually work to win.

First, it's great seeing cars on the track at Daytona!!

Second, I LOVED the tandem racing!! It was exciting watching one pair pass a couple pairs then get passed by another pair. ACTUAL passes. In a pack, it's just hope your line moves. Also in the few races that the tandem was so prevalent, there were less cars wrecked combined in 4 races then in the ONE Talladega when the pack was brought back. You say you don't like wrecks but you like the pack racing? I respectfully call Bullshit.

And THIS is why NASCAR is awesome, we will have a great debate and nobody is going to freak out. You have a convo about a rule change in NBA or NFL and someone will get so defensive about something they come to blows. IN NASCAR, fans give each other grief then have another beer and compliment each other when someones team does well. Its fun at a race and while wearing my Tony Stewart stuff, I'll get a look and a thumbs up from a KB fan, or 48 fan when Tony does something good. And how many times have I patted someone on the back and said "It'll be alright, Jr. will do better next time." ;) BWAHAHAHA!!

Love racing, new season is so close I can taste it!!

I don't really follow NASCAR. There's some 'road race' events but there's no NASCAR Oval racetrack here in Northern California.
Rumors about a track being built in Yuba City have been circulating for years but nothing so far.

I would love to attend a Nascar race, I hope it happens someday soon.

Northern Cali is a tough area for NASCAR. But growing up in Oregon I know where you're coming from. It's worth the effort to plan a trip, at least once to a race weekend somewhere, ANYWHERE. Sure there are some better then others, but all will be great as a first experience. It'll be worth it.

Your bullshit claim was misdirected. I do not like wrecks AND I do not like pack racing. My preference is to have the cars perform well through driver skills, not by mandate. There are great drivers out there, and there are very poor drivers out there, when the two kinds mix on the racetrack, bad things happen.

And then there are the mediocre drivers like Dale Junior who get a chance to go out on the track driving great equipment, and posting ho hum results, year after year. I guess he gives the unschooled racefan someone to cheer for.
