But never the boyfriend. For most of my life the most beautiful girls in my life have been my best friends and that's all well and good and when I meet them most of them are single already. Here's the dilemma, for years I suffered under the delusion that the best way to find a girlfriend was to try and become friends with them so you can see what you have in common with them. I've all but abandoned this crazy idea because IT DOES NOT WORK! As soon as I finally decided to ask one of these girls out, they suddenly want to introduce me to this guy that asked them out and wouldn't you know it, she said yes! This has happened way too many times (too many to give an exact number) to be a coincidence and quite frankly I'M GETTING SICK AND TIRED OF IT! Just once, just as every girl in my position would want that really hot guy to be her boyfriend, just once I'd like that really hot girl to be my girlfriend. The weird part is I know lots of guys that aren't the greatest looking in the world that are going out with girls that "just wanna be friends" with me. I'm sick of settling for those ugly, crazy psycho bitches that nobody else'll come anywhere near. Where are the nice down to earth good looking girls that aren't "just looking for a friend"?

 

They are all with the guys that have to balls to ask them out in the first place. Confidence goes a long way. Quit asking psychos out and you wont be "stuck" with them. Ask he hot chick out to begin with and more then likly you will get the girl at least once or twice. That is unless you are horrible looking or retarded or something along those lines. But assuming you are none of the above you should succeed.

Grow some balls and make a move. If a girl says no, obviously you just go look for another, she wasn't the right one.

If you are as nice as your describing yourself to be you shouldn't have any problems eventually finding a good looking girl. Go to night clubs, parties... etc...

Confidence! I found that girls like a confident chap - if you come across as shy then you'll always be "just a friend" or "like a brother".

 

In that case, it's problem solved.

But to the OP, those who said relax are right, but then so are the ones who said be confident. My experience is that you be come more relaxed as your confidence grows. Don't go for the long ball, the first time you're at bat, just try to make contact. Get the courage to ask one out, but keep asking them until you succeed, there are more women than men on this planet.

The long balls will come as you build your confidence.

I would say don't let them get to comfortable in the friend zone. This includes plenty of refernces to keep sex in their mind from the get go. And lots of touching in a comfortable way. It is actually just a good practice to have in general whether you want anything more from them or not because other girls pick up on it.
