So, who is this "Moorish American Arms" bunch, and what do they stand for?

Moorish Sovereign Citizens | Southern Poverty Law Center (splcenter.org)
Members of the Moorish sovereigns, called Moors, have come into conflict with federal and state authorities over their refusal to obey laws and government regulations. Recently, Moorish sovereign citizens have engaged in violent confrontations with law enforcement. They have also been known to retaliate against government authorities through financial means — a process called “paper terrorism.” Moorish sovereigns espouse an interpretation of sovereign doctrine that African Americans constitute an elite class within American society with special rights and privileges that convey on them a sovereign immunity placing them beyond federal and state authority.

    Origins
The origins of the Moorish sovereign citizen movement are difficult to ascertain and often misunderstood. According to law enforcement sources, Moorish sovereign citizens are closely affiliated with the Moorish Science Temple of America (MSTA) and trace their roots to the creation of the MSTA in 1913 and its founder, Noble Drew Ali (aka Timothy Drew). Some Moorish sovereigns are known to affiliate with the MSTA, but certainly not all MSTA chapters are linked to sovereign citizens. In fact, the MSTA issued a statement in July 2011 condemning sovereign citizen practices and denying any association with radical or subversive Moorish sovereign groups.

Further, according to Mark Pitcavage, a leading expert in the sovereign citizen movement, “Moorish sovereign citizens emerged in the mid-1990s on the East Coast when some people began to merge sovereign citizen ideas with some of the beliefs of the Moorish Science Temple, a religious sect dating back to 1913.”

In his article “The Washitaw Nation and Moorish Sovereign Citizens,” Pitcavage writes, “After the ‘Empress’ (e.g. Verdiacee Turner Goston) retired, the original Washitaw group fell apart, replaced with a variety of different groups and individuals taking up the ‘Washitaw Nation’ mantle… So today there is not just one ‘Washitaw Nation,’ but many, making it one of the most important wings of the Moorish sovereign citizen movement,” he says.

The Washitaw Nation appears to be the earliest sovereign citizen group that began merging Moorish identity and heritage with sovereign citizen concepts. In her book Return of the Ancient Ones published in 1993, Verdiacee Turner Goston, “Empress of the Washitaw Nation,” asserts that Moors were among the earliest settlers to America and the rightful owners of all lands ceded to the United States in the Louisiana Purchase. Clint D. Nelson Bey writes in the book’s preface, “This book begs you to start asking questions and do your own personal research regarding your Moorish history and then allow your mind to connect the two.”

“You can’t fool a Washitaw as we, the original Muurs (Moors) of Dugdahmoundyah,” Goston writes on page 202. “We must realize who we are and what we are doing in this land and how we have been preserved for what special purpose.”

Goston later writes on page 203, “My people were here when the white man came to this Afmuurican [sic] continent. They were the Muurs…In later years called the Moors from the land of Tadmor (Palmara or Palmares).”

Other examples of Moorish sovereign citizen groups include the Free Moorish Nation, the United Mawshakh Nation of Nuurs, the Nuwaubian Nation of Moors and the Al Moroccan Empire. These groups primarily operated throughout the Southeastern, Northeastern and Midwestern United States.

In particular, the Nuwaubian Nation of Moors likely played a key role in spreading Moorish sovereign citizen ideology to other key American cities. In her book The Nuwaubian Nation: Black Spirituality and State Control, Susan Palmer writes, “In mid-June, 1999, several Montana Freemen came to town (e.g. Eatonton, Georgia)… One of them introduced himself to the Nuwaubians as a ‘common law judge.’ He moved into Tama Re to work with them.”

So, when the Nuwaubian group’s compound in Eatonton, Georgia, was raided by federal, state and local law enforcement officials on May 8, 2002, and essentially shut down, many Nuwaubian Nation members (who were now knowledgeable of sovereign citizen tradecraft) were displaced and fled to other areas of the country bringing with them Moorish sovereign ideology.

So if these Moors are sovereigns, why are they using our roads? Who said they could shop at our grocery stores, why are they eating our food? I don't care if they are buying the food, they are using money that is backed by a government they don't recognize? What treaty did they sign to be allowed these perks?

Actually, they seem very harmless...have they bombed buildings with folks in the buildings?...have they kidnapped folks for financial gain?...have they shot up a mall, shopping center, sat on the side of a road and picked random folks driving by and shot them to death?...

    Harmless.

I got a good laugh out of how they make their racism glare like the sun as if only white people can be far right extremists. The Moors are espousing the exact same ideology as the Sovereign Citizens which is about as far right as you can get.

And the far right extremists of all stripes are spreading thanks to Trump promoting them.

Far-right militia takes hold of island town in Washington: They're 'becoming the new norm'

Tensions are rising in Whidbey Island, Seattle, after residents say a right-wing extremist group is tearing the fabric of the community apart, The Daily Beast reports.

The tension started when the The Washington III Percent militia took control of the local Grange association (a community gathering place) and began rejecting membership applications from anyone not aligned with them. Now, III Percenter flags and bumper stickers have increasingly popped up around town and left-wing rallies.

"They've been trying to do this for quite some time now: Extremists running for office, local elections, you know, county councils, state legislatures, things like that," said Daryl Johnson, a former Homeland Security analyst who runs DT Analytics. "Once it creeps in, if nobody challenges, it becomes the new norm."

The group's founder and president Matt Marshall says his group is neither extremist nor racist, and says local activists' criticism of his organization amounts to a "smear campaign."

According to the Daily Beast's Heath Druzin, the group's "stealthy takeover" of the region "is straight out of the modern, far-right playbook: target local and state elections, boards, and other institutions that often fly under the radar to increase influence."

"Far-right groups are running candidates in rural statehouse seats, school boards, and even library boards across the country, often rallying around panics of the moment, like so-called critical race theory," Druzin writes.

According to the mayor of Langley, Washington, the group won't be around for long.

"I think, ironically, what they're doing is going to backfire on them, because it's actually bringing the rest of the community together in ways we haven't really been together in a while," Mayor Scott Chaplin said.

Um, this moor group espouses more what antifa stands for than any right wing group.
    But you already knew that.
And we all know, antifa is a liberal child, not a conservative one.

Terrorism expert Malcolm Nance says he's concerned about post-August QAnon because they're committed to civil war

    MSNBC intelligence analyst Malcolm Nance.

Speaking to MSNBC's Joy Reid on Monday, terrorism expert Malcolm Nance explained that there might be many people worried about the possibility of violence in August like the world witnessed on Jan. 6. Watching the communications of the far-right, Nance said that he doesn't think it will happen. What he is concerned about, however, is what will happen after August, when Donald Trump isn't reinstated.

Joining the discussion, author and expert Professor Mia Bloom from Georgia State University said that she expected that QAnon would turn into an anti-Semitic group because it has the conspiracy theories about a "global cabal," lies about George Soros and Janet Yellen and talks about drinking blood.

"Which are all things Jews have been accused of for hundreds of years in Europe, through the church," she explained. "But when we started looking at Save the Children campaign, and I'm a supporter of Save the Children, the charity. So I thought, wait a second, all these children are white and all the Save the Children, children are not. So, we did a systematic study because I needed data to show that they were using these racist tropes that go to the period of restoration where there were stereotypes of the Black bruit who was going to rape the white woman or kidnap the white woman. This is heart and soul of QAnon."

The conspiracy from QAnon said that Trump is somehow going to stop this cabal, but as Reid noted, he couldn't even manage a casino without running it into the ground. Reid went on to say that there is a concern that these are part of American fascism.

"Anyone that can see with their eyes understands what is going on here," said Nance. "We are in a neofascist era in personal politics. Back in 1939, 1940 there was a formal fascist movement, which openly supported Adolf Hitler and called for American independence and isolation away from Europe's war, which Hitler had just invaded, called the America First movement."

He noted that it was championed by Americans like Charles Lindbergh, an alleged Nazi sympathizer.

"They had a rally in Madison Square Garden where George Washington was juxtaposed with Adolf Hitler," said Nance. "These people were fascists. What we've seen is after World War II when they were essentially run to the ground, there was a rise in the 1950s and '60s of these very small fascist groups that turned into terrorist groups like the Christian Identity movement."

He said that what is happening now is some kind of merger of every white nationalist trope and group, being brought together by crazy QAnon conspiracies. It's become a kind of American neofascist movement led by Trump.

"Look, if I were doing an intelligence assessment of, I don't know, Hungary, I would be coming up with these exact same lines of investigation, which would be bringing us to these conclusions that there is a fascist movement not just in the United States, all over Europe, which is actually funded, surprisingly, by Russia in France, Italy, Spain," Nance continued. "Neofascist movements everywhere are out to take down American democracy."

Professor Bloom noted that it is now working its way into the evangelical Christian world. Still, Nance said that the August date shouldn't be a concern.

"I don't think we should really worry about the August date because as we know, these things come and go," he said. "They have had these dates before. It's the post-August period that I would really be watching as a terrorism professional because Donie O'Sullivan did some interviews with these people and they said if Trump is not reinstalled, then they're going to have to start talking civil war. I've been monitoring their communications since last December. These people are already, many of them, committed to the concept of overthrowing American democracy and inciting civil war."

Capitol rioter who stockpiled weapons after release claims guns are just antiques -- and pipe bomb is 'a prop for training'

    John Wright
    July 06, 2021

Thomas Robertson, right, inside the Capitol on Jan. 6.

An accused Capitol insurrectionist who violated a judge's order by amassing an arsenal of firearms following his release from jail now claims they are merely "antique" guns — and that a partially assembled pipe bomb found at his home was just "a prop for training."

Federal prosecutors are seeking to revoke the pre-trial release of former Virginia police officer Thomas Robertson, alleging that he purchased 34 guns despite a judge's order that he not "possess a firearm, destructive device, or other dangerous weapons." Notably, this marks the second time since Robertson's release that he has been accused of violating the order.

In response to prosecutors' motion seeking to revoke Robertson's release, his attorney, Mark Rollins, argued in a motion filed Sunday that the guns his client ordered online were not technically in his possession because they were being stored at a local firearms dealership.

"Mr. Robertson was an antique gun lover, served his Country honorably, and the guns he allegedly purchased but did not possess were antique guns from the World War II era," Rollins wrote.

As for the partially assembled pipe bomb — which was found inside Robertson's backyard workshop and marked "booby trap" — Rollins noted that the label also included the words "ALERRT," which stands for "Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training."

This "partially assembled pipe found inside the box is not a destructive device as this device is used to teach students (Safety) in law enforcement as part of the ALERRT class," Rollins wrote. "Mr. Robertson was a level II instructor for ALERRT. This pipe is not active as it is a prop for training."

Robertson allegedly tried to cover up his weapons purchases by labeling one of them as "wedding photos" on Venmo, the Daily Beast reports. He has also repeatedly posted violent, extremist rhetoric on Facebook and elsewhere.

As recently as June 10, Robertson warned others who want to overthrow the government that they should not attempt to do so peacefully.

"I have learned very well that if you dip your toe into the Rubicon. . . . cross it. Cross it hard and violent and play for all the marbles," he wrote.

Read Robertson's response to prosecutors' motion below.

Feds nab 'militia' man who hyped 'second civil war' to undercover agent -- and spent weeks surveilling Capitol

    Sarah K. Burris
    July 06, 2021

Capitol militia monitor Fi Duong, (Photo: FBI indictment)

A new court filing Tuesday revealed that a Virginia man who told the FBI that he was part of a militia helped coordinate "surveillance efforts" at the U.S. Capitol after the Jan. 6 attack.

According to the court documents, Fi Duong never clarified what specifically he was surveilling for weeks after the insurrection, or why. The indictment, however, outlines that an undercover agent went to meetings with Duong and his associates and were able to capture encrypted communication organizing the surveillance efforts.

"How do we feel about an Intel run around the Capitol tonight?" one of the men asked Duong in a Feb. 13 conversation. "Fewer of them out. Posture may be lowered. Good opportunity to expose weaknesses."

Duong responded: "Poke and prod. But have a legitimate reason to go. Visit a restaurant or something. Get something cheap. Walk around a bit," the FBI agent's affidavit cited.

The Washington Post report said that "Duong's first contact with undercover investigators occurred on the morning of Jan. 6, when he and the associate introduced themselves to an undercover police officer near Freedom Plaza in Washington." He asked the undercover agent if he was "a patriot" and called himself an "operator."

The term "operator" is generally used when referring to American special ops personnel. Before the Delta force and the SEALS were established, special forces would use the term "operator" and make members of the force sign pledges.

In May and June, Duong discussed creating and testing Molotov cocktails, the court documents explain. He repeatedly talked about violence against groups that contrast with his beliefs.

"My goal here is to outline the current 'state of play' in what could be called the second American Civil war," Duong told followers of his group.

"He also said he did not necessarily approve of actions taken on January 6 at the U.S. Capitol and that it probably did more to hurt President Trump than to help him," the FBI agent said in the testimony.

They list his alias as "Monkey King" and "Jim."

He is charged with four counts relating to Jan. 6 that includes obstruction of an official proceeding, which has a potential prison sentence of up to 20 years.

    Google.
Nance has no expertise with terrorism, no education and no demonstrated respect in the field.

His only claim is as a talking head and pundit for an entertainment show masquerading as a news show.

Your first clue is stumbler and wrong story calling him a "terrorism expert".

Shooter has more qualifications in evaluating terrorism than Nance cause he worked briefly with DHS risk auditors.
And Shooter would never dare pontificate on terrorism.

But hey, you want to suck that Koolaid from stumbler, go right ahead.

Leftists are pushing that narrative hard.

If it's found that rampant election fraud did exist...that leftist pushed narrative could become a reality, yet how soon the leftists forget, they created the agenda as BLM and antifa are still promoting the 'fundamental change that half cracker actually told the truth about.

Washington Post gives White House 'Three Pinocchios' for claiming Republicans are defunding police
'White House advisers are trying to turn the tables on the GOP with a new talking point'
    7/7/2021

The Washington Post's Fact-Checker dinged the White House for claiming Republicans were "defunding the police," giving the eyebrow-raising talking point "Three Pinocchios."

Recent remarks by White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki and senior Biden adviser Cedric Richmond had sought to turn the tables on months of some progressive Democrats advocating for slicing or even dismantling municipal police department budgets. Their logic was GOP opposition to the $1.9-trillion coronavirus relief bill passed this year amounted to supporting defunding police, since $350 billion was allocated for state and local government aid.

"Although Republicans all opposed Biden’s coronavirus relief package, no one voted to cut, or defund, anything. Rather, Democrats proposed $350 billion in emergency funds for state and local governments, and Republicans voted against those extra funds. That’s not a reduction," the Post's Glenn Kessler wrote.

President Biden has resisted efforts from the left flank of his party to call for police budget cuts, but the efforts by his White House to shift the label of anti-police to Republicans appeared to demonstrate the damage of even the appearance of that position. Despite the brazenness of the White House's claims, some liberal media figures fell in line with the talking point, Fox News reported last week.

While Biden announced last month he wanted cities to tap the emergency $350 billion fund to hire additional police officers, there was no text in the American Rescue Plan itself that mandated those monies go toward policing, Kessler noted.

"In response to our questions, White House officials said Republicans were 'effectively' trying to defund the police by withholding support for the coronavirus relief package and by proposing to claw back some of the $350 billion in state and local aid amid ongoing infrastructure negotiations," Kessler wrote.

In his conclusion, Kessler wrote there was no line item in the massive coronavirus legislation to attach to White House claims that Republicans wanted to defund police.

"[G]oing strictly by the bill text, lawmakers had no guarantee that police would get a slice of the pie," he wrote. "What’s more, voting against a one-time infusion of cash is not the same as voting to cut funding, so there is little basis to claim that Republicans are trying to 'defund the police.'"

Even before Kessler and others hit Psaki and Richmond for their remarks, Republicans had reacted with outrage at the notion they were for cutting police funding.

"That's like an arsonist showing up at the fire and blaming the fireman," Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, told "Hannity" last week.

Did you notice by the way?

Usually, when there's an announcement to be made by the President, it's "the President said today ..........."
But with biden/harris, it's "The white house said today ........."

Makes it sound like biden/harris isn't running things, but some nefarious and unidentified "white house" shadow group.

I'm glad, its important to preserve the cloths of those brave democrats who pushed brooms after that fateful event...the nation salutes you Andy Kim and a big thanks goes to CNN for not letting this go unnoticed!

Lawmaker donates suit he wore to clean up Capitol riot to Smithsonian, 6 months after deadly insurrection

(CNN)Around 11 p.m. ET on January 6, Rep. Andy Kim was walking around the US Capitol with a trash bag in hand, trying to clean up after insurrectionists ransacked the building just hours earlier, when the New Jersey Democrat came across a plaque commemorating the cornerstone of the Capitol laid by George Washington.
Six months after the attack, Kim announced that he would be donating the suit he wore in the now infamous moment he was captured cleaning up the damage done to the Capitol to the Smithsonian as the museum builds its exhibit documenting what happened on January 6. His comments and donation illustrate how many lawmakers are still processing the violent riot, which shook Capitol Hill, abruptly halted the certification of President Joe Biden's victory and eventually led to arrests of more than 500 people.

"6 months ago today I wore this blue suit as I cleaned the Capitol after the insurrection, now I just donated it to the Smithsonian. Jan6 must never be forgotten.
While some try to erase history, I will fight to tell the story so it never happens again. Here is one story…(THREAD)"
