Why we all know how concerned despicables are about the idiots who refuse to get vaccinated.
They just want us all to be healthy and get covid beat down once and for all.
    Its all about humanity, right?

    Right?

    Apparently not.
See, if they truly did give a flying fart in a hurricane, they'd at least encourage testing and masks and social distancing.
Denying a test to find covid because the one tested doesn't spew the talking points about stopping covid, yeah, that makes all the sense in the world.

Candace Owens denied medical treatment as Colorado lab cancels COVID test appointment | Fox News
Candace Owens denied medical treatment as Colorado lab cancels COVID test appointment
Conservative author and commentator Candace Owens was denied medical care in the form of a coronavirus test by a Colorado laboratory because of her political beliefs, Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson reported Thursday.

Owens was sent a letter by Aspen Laboratories' co-founder Suzanna Lee informing her that her "booking" was being cancelled and that she would be "denied service" because of both her aversion to governmental face mask mandates and her analysis of the effectiveness of vaccination shots.

"We cannot support anyone who has pro-actively worked to make this pandemic worse by spreading misinformation, politicizing, and discouraging the wearing of masks and actively dissuading people from receiving life-saving vaccinations," Lee wrote in the letter obtained by "Tucker Carlson Tonight."

Owens said she does not actually want to be tested for coronavirus but that because of sudden governmental restrictions on "bodily autonomy," she has to get routine tests to be able to engage in normal activities.

"First and foremost, I'd like to not have to get COVID tested, but as you brought up in your previous segment – this is one of the only ways you can maintain your bodily autonomy right now and they're saying if you do not get the vaccination then you need a COVID test to move. If you go to an event you need a negative COVID test; if you want to leave the country or fly," she said.

"So I perpetually have to get tested to prove I'm negative," Owens said, noting she has traveled to three countries and 23 states in the last two years for her work and leisure.

Owens added that Lee's refusal of services begs the question as to the rhetoric of people like her who say it is "a pandemic of the unvaccinated."

"If this is a real deadly virus – if the unvaccinated are the people that are behind this pandemic, people like me … and you really believe this, why would you prevent somebody from complying with local COVID measures and trying to get a test and do the right thing? That doesn't make sense."

Such behavior "defies the science [they] claim is so true," said Owens.

"This is not about health anymore, this is about politics," Owens replied. "These people are sadistic, they are sadists. They like to manipulate you, they like control. They don't care about public health. This is a public health crisis she would say 'you know what I hate Candace Owen but of course she is in my town I'm going to give her a test and make sure she doesn't infect anybody else.'"

As usual big suzy misses the point cause, you know, inconvenient.

So, big suzy, did the point that testing unvaccinated people is a good thing slip by you?
Unless it's a conservative, that is.

    1. BigSuzyB
Unvaccinated people are not a good thing. If they find themselves in Limbo they can pay for having tests.
Nobody wants to be around the unvaccinated. Who cares if things get inconvenient for them.
We want to get back to business and they aren’t helping by dragging this out.
After all the work we’ve done, money spent and lives lost. I not concerned about anti-vaxers not being able to get tested and needing one for no good reason. To bad, they can live the dark.

Another example of the fake patriotism and stupid ignorance that is the hallmark of treasonous conservative/Republicans.

Jim Jordan gets a badly needed fact-check after claiming that 'vaccine mandates are un-American'

U.S. Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH) is among those who've been burned by WinRed PAC.

Always determined to attack Democrats any way he can, Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio has been loudly pushing anti-vaxxer ideas. On Monday, September 6, the far-right Republican congressman tweeted that "vaccine mandates are unamerican." And it didn't take Twitter users long to remind Jordan that in fact, vaccine mandates have a long history in the United States.

From businesses to the U.S. Armed Forces to schools, vaccine mandates existed in the United States long before the COVID-19 pandemic. And one of the medical experts who gave Jordan a badly needed history lesson was Houston-based Dr. Peter Hotez, who has made countless appearances on MSNBC and CNN in 2021. In response to Jordan, Hotez tweeted:

    Prof Peter Hotez MD PhD
    @PeterHotez

This is simply not true. Vaccines for smallpox, later childhood vaccines for measles, mumps, rubella, Hib (vaccines discovered in USA), preserved our nation. I’m aghast at the absence of intellectual curiosity or even passing interest in American [IMG] history from our US Congress
    [IMG]

    Vaccine mandates are un-American.
    7:44 PM · Sep 6, 2021 from Houston, TX

Twitter user Morten Øverbye, based in Oslo, Norway, reminded Jordan that a vaccine mandate came from George Washington, the United States' first president, back in 1777:

    James Surowiecki
    @JamesSurowiecki

Every US soldier is required to be vaccinated against chicken pox, hep A, hep B, measles, mumps, rubella, rabies, pertussis, tetanus, diphtheria, rabies, typhoid, pneumococcal pneumonia, and the flu. Is that really un-American?

    Gregg Gonsalves
    @gregggonsalves

Dude: you went to school and HAD to be immunized for measles, mumps, rubella and a host of other childhood preventable illnesses. Vaccine mandates have been in place in the US for decades you jackass. You're either ignorant or know you're lying. Not a good look.

Jaw-Dropping 76 PERCENT of Republicans Oppose Vaccine Requirement in Workplace as Covid Deaths Soar

As Covid-19 deaths soared to almost 11,000 last week, a jaw-dropping 76 percent of Republicans still oppose requiring proof of vaccination at workplaces, and even more oppose the requirement in other settings.

According to the Johns Hopkins University Medical Center’s Coronavirus Resource Center, weekly deaths from Covid-19 have increased to 10,979 for the week ending September 5, an increase of nearly 2,000 from the week before — and a huge leap from the 2021 low of 1,625 in July.

But that has done little to convince Republicans that vaccine requirements are necessary to stem the tide of death. While support for vaccine requirements has increased steadily over the past several months, a new Gallup poll shows a stunning partisan divide on a public health measure that experts say is crucial to stopping the pandemic in its tracks.

Respondents to the poll were asked “Would you favor or oppose businesses requiring people to show proof of coronavirus/Covid-19 vaccination in order to do the following over the next several months?”

Among all respondents, a very solid 56 percent say they favor vaccine requirements in order to “Go to office or work site,” the most expansive of the situations polled.

But among Republicans, just 24 percent say they favor the requirement, while a whopping 76 percent say they oppose it. That opposition climbs as high as 79 percent when it comes to requiring proof of vaccination to dine in a restaurant.

Among Democrats, 88 percent favor the vaccine requirement for the workplace. Among self-identified independents, 43 percent support such a requirement, while 57 percent oppose it.

The divide is also highlighted in the poll’s results among the vaccinated, 72 percent of whom support requiring proof of vaccination in the workplace, and the unvaccinated, 78 percent of whom oppose requiring proof of vaccination in the workplace.

Sarah Palin and other treasonous conservative/Republicans tried to create panic over the ACA falsely claiming it would cr4eate "death panels" that would ration health care and decided who ;lives and who dies. So its very ironic that it would be mostly treasonous conservative/Republicans who could make death panels come true.

Idaho Hospitals Start Rationing Health Care Due to COVID-19 Case Surge

Public health officials in Idaho have activated “crisis standards of care” to aid some of the state’s hospitals, which are buckling under a mass influx of coronavirus patients. The measure is “a last resort,” according to Idaho Department of Health and Welfare Director Dave Jeppesen. Due to staffing and bed shortages in the northernmost part of the state, the new designation will allow hospitals to allocate resources to patients most likely to survive. The crisis standards are a complex triage system that will ultimately only afford some patients “comfort care”—keeping them pain-free, but potentially denying them a hospital room, bed, or even life-saving medical equipment.

In northern Idaho’s largest hospital, there is currently one critical care nurse looking after up to six intensive care unit patients. More than 500 people were hospitalized across the state with COVID-19 on the first day of September; more than a third of them were placed in ICU beds. Experts have predicted that Idaho could see upwards of 30,000 weekly COVID-19 cases soon if the current rate of infection doesn’t slow. The crisis standards will remain in effect until more resources can be delivered, or fewer cases are reported.

    Ain't it something?
Last year when Covid was raging one of the big concerns was ICU beds.
The panic was that ICU wards would be swamped with people dying of Covid and we wouldn't have enough ICU beds for them.
Or ventilators. Remember the panic over ventilator shortages?
But in the end we had a surplus of beds for covid victims.
So many in fact that the hospital ships were sent home and the parking garages converted back to parking garages.

Now, with fewer cases, we suddenly can't find an ICU bed for Grandma.
But hey, it does let stumbler make the (ridiculous) connection between Sarah Palin, ACA, and covid.
    Clever.

Well, here in Romania we are in delta wave ... today, we had 2000+ cases and an estimation of 6000 per day until end of september ... and with our kinda poor medical system, situation will be almost like last year in autumn ...

COVID Cases, Deaths Notably Worse In Red States Than Blue States: Report
Of the “23 states that have new case totals per capita higher than the nation overall, 21 voted for Donald Trump,” The Washington Post reports.

By the looks of it, Republican attacks on masks and COVID-19 vaccines don’t seem to be particularly healthy for people living in red states. In several instances in recent months, both COVID-19 cases and deaths are notably higher in Republican states than in Democratic blue states, according to an analysis of data by The Washington Post.

The Post said the analysis reveals the “inescapable overlap of pandemic and politics.”

In a single, obvious example, of 54,000 people who have died since late June, in the latest wave of COVID-19, nearly 1 in 5 has died in Florida, where GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis battles against wearing masks. So a state with just 6% of the nation’s population accounts for 18% of the nation’s COVID-19 deaths this summer, the Post reported Friday.

But it’s far more than that. Across the nation, it’s “obvious that there’s an overlap of vaccination rates, party identity and pandemic outcomes that intertwines the discussion about the pandemic with partisan politics,” noted reporter Philip Bump. “We see that red states are doing much worse relative to the country on the whole than are blue states.”

He added that “more deaths from the virus occur in places where there are more cases. There are more cases in places where vaccination rates are lower. Vaccination rates are lower in places that voted more heavily Republican in 2020.”

“Of the 23 states that have new case totals per capita higher than the nation over all, 21 voted for Donald Trump in November. Sixteen are among the 17 states that have the lowest rates of vaccination,” according to the Post.

Of the 18 states that have new death totals higher than the national average, 14 voted for Trump, the Post reports.

Just six states experienced more than half those deaths – Texas, Florida, Georgia, Arizona, South Carolina and Mississippi. And yes, they all have Republican governors. Of the 22 states which recorded deaths per million in August higher than fifty, 17 have Republican leadership (red states) and just five are Democratic (blue states).

Democrat Blue States Have 46 Percent More Murders Than Republican Red States

The Left claims that if we just have fewer guns, remove certain types of guns or have no guns, then we will somehow have a safer society. That concept hasn’t worked in Mexico where over 70,000 people have been killed since a total gun ban [Report, Point 11]. This idea also hasn’t worked in Great Britain since the government implemented a total gun ban after a 1996 mass shooting. Since the gun ban, Great Britain has seen total gun crime increase by 65 percent [Report, Point 4]. Criminals know that law-abiding citizens are likely unarmed and thus easy targets. The left ignores the fact that criminals don’t obey the law, and that is why they are called criminals.

Let’s pretend another law passes to restrict or otherwise limit the rights of a general law-abiding society. The criminals won’t say, ‘awe, gee, those politicians passed a law and we have to turn in all those guns we stole or smuggled in with our drugs. Wow, those anti-gun groups are so smart. Crime as we know it, is finally over.’

That is the thinking of liberal ideology. Never mind the fact that “under (EXISTING U.S.) federal law…prohibits any person convicted of a felony from purchasing or possessing any type of firearm.”

In Candaceworld no one is required to do anything except show a photo ID when voting.

She's just another of the current crop of hot right wing chicks who have discovered there's a good living to be made spoon feeding the base. Like her brethren and cistern, she tests the wind and gets out in front, so she can look like she's leading the crowd. She's smart enough to know that two months in ICU with a ventilator in her trachea would be bad for ratings, so getting a vaccine just makes good business sense. It may seem like poor business judgment to reduce ones audience by discouraging vaccination and leaving them exposed to a miserable lingering death, with expenses paid by Medicare, but ratings are all about the present. There's no payoff today for next year's ratings.

On the other hand, being denied a vaccine by an evil vaccine purveyor lets her play the victim card. "Oh noes, they won't give me an evil vaccine," is enough of a ventriloquists act to keep her audience distracted for the present, and the present is all that matters.

Um, bron, Candace Owens wasn't looking for a vaccine shot.
    She wanted to be tested.
You know, to determine did she have covid.

Cause, see, she hasn't gotten the vaccine cause she doesn't want to.
Personal choice, her body, all that.
But she does want to be tested at least weekly so she and everyone around her will know and can take appropriate measures.
And she wears her mask and she distances.

If you had read the article, rather than do a knee jerk spew you would have known that.
    Shooter expected better of you.

Now anon and his "why would anyone be required to help her" spew, well, we know he's the village idiot, and he's proven that many times over.
So we don't expect much from the village idiot.

But we'd have hoped you would at least read and understand the issue before you spew.

(Shooter knows better. He does. One cannot play chess with a pigeon, and one cannot argue with an idiot. But, what the hell, some humor is called for)

So, then anon, what lies is Candace still spreading?
And please, so we can stay on topic and focused on the facts, any statement of Candace Owens that you claim is a lie must be demonstrated to be a lie, not an opinion you disagree with.

Or, you can for once take Shooters advice, not reply, and let us think you're an idiot. Or, like you always do, reply and remove all doubt that you are an idiot.

One thing that does strike me strange is the number of COVID deniers and Trump supporters who end up dead from COVID. And admittedly the pres looks for that kind of irony so those stories get over represented but the number of dead deniers is a lot greater than I thought it would be.
